𝑨s y/n walked through the greenery of Venice Beach, Milo obediently guided her as he was trained for. The gentle breeze and the warmth of the sun caressed the soft skin of y/n as she walked serenely with her guide dog.
The smell of grass blended with the sea air invaded her nostrils. The park wasn't busy today, good thing for Milo who gets easily distracted when he's working. When she first got him, they warned her about his tendency to get easily distracted and how it could potentially put her in danger, but the stubborn y/n chose not to listen to their advice.
From the moment they met, there was an instant connection between them. It has been several years now, and ever since then, they have been inseparable.
Nonetheless, Milo remains a very well trained guide dog. As a matter of fact he saved y/n's life countless times. He protects her at all costs and never let her down. By being in this big city since forever, Milo knows now every inch of Los Angeles. Y/n trusts him more than anything in her life.
Since y/n lost her eyesight at a young age, she has hazy recollections of many aspects of life. Certain colors and objects are a blur in her memory, and she struggles to recall what certain animals look like. As she grew older, some of her childhood memories began to fade, though she still remembers most of it. In the absence of sight, she relies on her other senses such as smell, hearing, and touch, which become more heightened when you are sightless.
Milo guided them to the closest bench as they were walking for an hour. Y/n loved walking especially around nature and fresh environment, she loved smelling flowers, it was her favorite thing. This is the reason why she worked at a perfumery. The art of making perfumes enthralled her.
As she walked to the bench alongside Milo, she felt her denim pocket vibrates. Sitting on the bench with Milo between her feet, she took her phone and pressed the answer button on the left of the phone.
"Hello ?" She answered softly. "Y/n where the fuck are you ?" She heard her best friend exclaim. "Well hello to you too, i'm fine thanks for asking" She replied sarcastically. He groans "bitch shut the fuck up i thought we were gonna have lunch together ?" He said sounding annoyed."Oh shit i forgot, what time is it ?" She asked raising her eyebrows."It's 3pm ! I waited a whole hour for your ass !" He exclaimed."Yeah i know i'm sorry i lost track of time" She said apologetically.
"Now don't tell me you're walking with Milo at Venice Beach ?" He said knowingly. "Ehm... well you see...-" she responded hesitantly knowing she can't lie to him. He groans loudly interrupting her. "Bitch just tell me if you're coming or not ?" He finally asked annoyed. "it depends" She said tilting her head. "On what ?!" He asked aggravated. "Where are we eating ?" She asked. "I don't know i'm at the mall we'll figure it out" He said.
