𝖥𝗋𝗈𝗆 𝗌𝗈𝗎𝗅 𝗍𝗈 𝗌𝗈𝗎𝗅, 𝖺𝗋𝗂𝖺𝗇𝖺 𝗀𝗋𝖺𝗇𝖽𝖾

𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙧𝙚 𝙄𝙓

Ariana and y/n were sitting comfortably in the car, enjoying the soft music playing in the background. Ariana couldn't help but smile, stealing glances at y/n beside her.

She suggested a vegan restaurant that she was familiar with, so they both decided to dine there. Y/n was surprised to hear that ariana was vegan but she was genuinely interested in trying some of the vegan dishes that ariana spoke so highly of.

   Ariana then noticed her phone vibrating in her pocket. She quickly retrieved it and saw that her mom was calling. "Sorry, my mom is calling. Is it okay if i answer ?" she asked, glancing at y/n next to her. "Of course, go ahead," y/n replied with a smile.

   She picked up the call and switched on the speakerphone. "Hey mom," she greeted as she looked at the road. "Hi ari, how are you ?" her mom asked "i'm good and you ?" she responded. "I'm fine thank you, what are you doing ?", ariana quickly glanced at y/n before answering her mom, "i'm heading out to grab something to eat. Why do you ask?" she questioned, raising an eyebrow.

   "Well why don't you join us for dinner ? Hale and Frankie will be there, and Nonna really wants to see you."  Joan inquired. Ariana glanced at y/n, unsure if it would be alright for her to have dinner with her family.

  "Hey mom, can i call you back in a sec ?" she asked, biting her lip. "Sure, sweetie, is everything alright ?" Joan asked, her concern evident in her voice. "Yeah, everything's fine, don't worry," she reassured her mom. "Alright, just make sure to call me back," her mom replied. Ariana ended the call and turned her attention back to y/n.

   "Hey y/n, would you be okay with having dinner with my family instead ?" She then quickly added, "If you don't feel comfortable meeting them, we can always go to the restaurant as we planned. I genuinely don't mind and i completely understand. I don't want to pressure you, but it would mean a lot to me if you could meet them. But again, we can-"

   Before she could finish her rambling, y/n interrupted her with a chuckle and said, "Ari i would love to meet your family, i really don't mind" y/n smiled warmly. She heard ariana letting out a sigh of relief making her smile even more.

   "You're amazing, thank you but promise me that you will tell me if you ever feel uncomfortable" she insisted causing y/n's insides to flutter. "I promise" she smiled. "Okay" ariana almost whispered. She gazed at y/n and couldn't resist the urge to lean in and plant a gentle kiss on her cheek. So she did.

   Y/n's cheeks blushed like a ripe strawberry, feeling her heart skip a beat. Bashfully, she turned her head away from ariana, causing the latter to giggle with delight, loving the power she held over her. "So cute" she murmured to herself as she drove to her mom's.

After a solid 20 minutes behind the wheel, Ariana parked her car in her mom's driveway. Before this, she didn't forget to dial her mom's number and give her the heads up that she was on her way, and informed her that she wasn't coming alone.
