Y/N P.O.V

Blitzo had attempted to pat me on the back, reaching up to the mid-point of my towering stature. I glanced over my shoulder, my voice cool and collected, "So who do we assassinate? Is he in Pride?"

Blitzo's face morphed into an expression of shocked disbelief as he whipped around to glare at Moxxie. "God damnit, Moxxie!" he exploded, "You didn't tell him we assassinate HUMANS?"

Without missing a beat, I grasped Blitzo's shoulder, my touch strong and firm, "No, he did not. But now that I know, you can stop yelling at him."

The moment Blitzo spun around to face me, he was met with the intimidating sight of my glowing red eyes. He visibly gulped, stammering out a feeble, "Oh go choke on a dick.."

Moxxie was visibly jittery, approaching me with an awkward chuckle. "Yeeeaahh, so Blitzo and the prince of the Goetia family, Stolas have a-"

His sentence was abruptly cut short by Blitzo's outraged shout from outside the room.

"Don't you FUCKING SAY IT."

I sighed, my hands resting on my hips. "Is he always like this?" I asked, genuinely curious.

Moxxie nodded, "Unfortunately, yes. He's an eccentric asshole who is somehow a good leader."

Based on that colorful description, it seemed that Blitzo was a piece of work. I shrugged it off and probed Moxxie further.

"Does he always curse you out like this? You know I can talk to him about that."

Moxxie was frantic, "No no no no no, if you did that you'd lose your job and probably your life too-" I casually interrupted him, "You know I don't care about that stuff."

Moxxie responded earnestly, "But I do..!"

There was a moment of silence as we exchanged glances. I let out a sigh, my mind racing with thoughts of how much longer I could tolerate Blitzo's antics.

We descended the stairs together, my arms crossed over my chest. "When did you meet a piece of shit like him anyways?" I asked, genuinely curious.

Moxxie hesitated before answering. "... When Chaz abandoned me and I was thrown into prison, I met him. He helped me escape so I felt indebted to him."

"So you basically replaced me?" I asked, a hint of bitterness in my tone.

"It was temporary! Well, no... But for Millie yes, sorta... She was there for me when no one was, so I fell in love with her," Moxxie admitted.

"Love stories, wow," I muttered, my tone laced with sarcasm.

I looked away, my eyes catching sight of Blitzo conversing with Millie in hushed tones. "I'm telling you, that tall Lego looking mother fucker is gonna snap! I can't even slander Moxxie," Blitzo was grumbling, looking genuinely worried.

Millie, however, just laughed at his concerns, which prompted me to join in, my laughter echoing through the room. "No he wooonntt... If he said he needed the money, he definitely won't," Millie assured him.

I chimed in, "I promise I won't, shawty," I said, my tone playful as I ruffled what hair Blitzo had left.

My gaze shifted to Loona, who was still engrossed in her phone. I realized I hadn't spoken to her yet and decided to rectify that.
