Quinn POV
I woke up the day of the travel and I'm really used to Alp wanting me to go with him, but this time.. it just feels wrong. I can't really stand talking to anyone else. I hardly make eye contact so I don't hurt somebody. After Kai I don't go out much..
I get up and stretch my back feeling heavier then usual so I take a deep breath through my nose to calm my nerves. I smell a soft flower scent calm and subtle and faint, a clean refreshed smell I like it. It makes me a little happier. I exhale after a couple seconds and close my eyes.
Alp comes in and taps me on the shoulder so I turn to him.
"Hm-?"
"You ready to go?" He asks in question
"I guess so-"
"Good!" He grabs my wrist and walks out of my cave with a bunch of things of his..- Is that an umbrella-? I shake my head and chuckle
"You're bringing an umbrella?"
"Mhm. I want to relax in shade you know."
"Eh true, sounds nice."
He starts walking into the desert and I follow him as he hands me a back pack
"Here take this."
"Oh um- thanks?" I hesitantly take it and put it on my back as we pass a couple of cactus
"You never told me how long this walk was again.?"
"A day or two"
I groan as I hear those words leave his mouth
"Seriously?"
"Seriously."
"Ok can you tell me what does this place look like at least?"
"You'll see it when you get there- it's a great break spot you'll love it"
"...I sigh quietly and look down We'll see."
