You lied...?

Alp's POV
Its been around a day now and I can tell Quinn is getting more nervous and tense about this the further we go..

I look at quinn and he's picking at his nails a bit and I lighty smack his hand for him to stop

"Stop that Quinn"

He doesn't respond to me

"What are you thinking about-?"

He glares and looks at me witha look of pure annoyance and anger

"I don't fucking believe you right now, thats what. This is just too sudden and Why the fuck would we need to travel for two fucking days."

He shakes his head and looks away from me to stop anymore words from flowing out

I sigh and look away as well

"Look.. I may have lied. We aren't going to an oasis-"

He interrupts me and stops walking

"-What the fuck did you just say Alp."

Oh shit..

"I said that we aren't going to the oasis.."

"Then were the FUCK are we going." He barks at me

"Relax- you don't need to bark at me it isn't anywhere bad I promise"

His back rises and falls angrily and kicks some sand under him

"I FUCKING KNEW IT!"

"We're too far away for you to go back now.."

Quinn growls at me then looks at me

"Tell me where we are going right fucking now."

"The beach"

He looks at me with pure annoyance and confusion

"The beach-? Why the beach its almost exactly like an oasis right? So what the fuck."

"You've never even been there in all your life. Come on its something new"

"Thats exactly why I Don't like it-."

I roll my eyes and grab him and keep slithering to the beach starting to go through a short strip of forest

"Thanks for coming I've wanted to show you for awhile"

"Yeah yeah you basically fucking lied to me about it, you also wouldn't quit whining about how great a beach is." He points out harshly letting out a huff

I let out a audible sigh "I wasn't 'whining' I just wanted you out of the house since you've been sad and moping around since you've had to move here" I say casually and roll my eyes, crossing my arms

He chuckles a little "Sureeee, you totally weren't whining" He mumbles under his breath

The two men soon make it to the edge of the forest, looking upon the wide expanse  of the beach and the ocean that leads into a lake

"Wow.." quinn mutters as he stares at the sight in awe

"Impressed? I say in a sorta 'I-told-you-so' tone along with a smirk on my face

Quinn barks out a laugh "Yeah, yeah... I guess you were right- C'mon lets go." He mutters quickly out as he walks towards the beach taking a towel from his bag looking through it

We make it down to the shore and I start to set up the umbrella I brought..
