Lando Norris- Dad

Y/n pov:

You stare down at the pregnancy test on the countertop. You struggle to wrap your brain around what it says. You and your husband Lando Norris hadn't been married long and had had no plans to have kids yet, but you had missed your period so you took one just to be sure. Now you were trying to figure out how to tell Lando he was gonna be a Dad.

You paced back and forth nervously as you waited for him to come home from work. You checked the time for like the millionth time, Lando was five minutes late. Finally you heard the door open, Lando walked in and took his shoes off.
"Hi babe." He said while giving you a kiss, he then walked to the kitchen, "I'm gonna go golfing with Carlos tomorrow just so you know." He continued talking as he grab a glass of water. You just stood there watching him trying to figure out what to say. "What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?" Lando joked, he finally turned around to face you and noticed how anxious and stressed you looked.

"Y/n? What's wrong?" He asked, he put his drink on the counter and walked over to you, you swallowed nervously.
"I got something to show you." You said, your voice was full of emotion. Lando gave you a concerned look as you took his hand and led him into the living room. You handed him a box, he gave you an even more confused look before slowly opening the box.

"Are you serious?" Lando asked, his eyes wide, you nod. Lando stands there for a second processing before he puts the box down and grabs you and spins you around.
"Oh my gosh! I'm gonna be a dad!" He said as he put you back onto you feet. You sigh with relief,
"Your gonna be the greatest dad ever." You tell him,
"Well this baby is gonna have the best mom in the whole world." Lando said, he leaned down and kissed you. He pulled away and pulled out his phone, "I've gotta tell Carlos!" He said excitedly, you chuckle.

9 months later:

You watched with an overwhelming feeling of love as Lando held your new baby girl. He stared down at her with such love in his eyes it had you in tears. He swayed slowly back and forth, he glanced over at you and you felt more tears slide down your face when you saw the tears streaming down his face.

You watched proudly while holding rose as Lando crossed the finish line in first. You made you way through the crowd and watched him celebrate, as he was standing on the podium you could see him scanning the crowd. You waved at him and smiled when you saw his face light up as he spotted you. He hoped down from the podium and ran over to you he gave you a kiss and a hug and then took Rose and carried her back onto the podium. The crowd cheered when they saw her, Lando held her for a bit before passing her over to Carlos who had come second.

Four years later:

You watched with your year old son Chase, on on your lap, you were focused on Lando and rose. Lando had convinced you to let rose start karting, she had been begging to do it since she was two but you had refused cause you wanted her to be older, now the four and a half year old was being coached by her father. She had already won her first karting race which had had Lando over the moon.

You couldn't be more proud of Lando, he was an amazing caring father. He was firm but still loved them with all of his heart, when you married him you didn't think you could love him more but every time you saw him being a Dad, you were proven wrong.
