Jennifer's POV:

"But Darling, please give me a chance to explain it," I say, basically begging my husband. Oscar always thinks he's entitled to everything. Never let me do what I want, always what he wants. But I stay with him because our kingdom needs both of us. "No, end of discussion. We both know your opinion doesn't matter Darling." He says. If I wasn't committed to him, I would've hit him. I feel the flames come out of my fingertips like they're about to explode but I calm myself in time. "Here," He says as he hands me a roll of paper with a ribbon wrapped around it. "You can write all of your opinions on this piece of paper, and if I get enough time, I will read it. Okay?" He says in a surprisingly sweet tone as if he was sorry about what he did. "Thank you," I reply. I'm still shocked at how he can change techniques so quickly.

"Hey, Crow. Come here," he says, giving the crow a roll of paper. "I want you to give this to Solaris Kingdom. I'm planning on setting up a marriage between my daughter and their son." The crow squawks and starts pumping its wings. It flies out the window to start its mission to deliver the roll. "Well, what are you still doing here? Go and write your stupid opinions down." I walk out of the room and wander to the library. I open the door to the glorious room. The sunset seeps through the windows as it shines down onto the shelves filled with books. I go to the romance section. I spend a lot of my time there, pretending to be the main character with their loved ones, wishing it was like the relationship I'm in now. I look up at the clock. 1:56 pm. I didn't know I spent that much time here. With the roll in hand, I grab the pen sitting on the shelf and start writing.

Hours pass and I have filled the entire scroll up. I look up at the clock again to see it's about 10:20 pm. I get up from the corner and walk to my husband's and I's bedroom. I open the door and there I see a woman lying on our bed. She was covered in silk that my husband gifted me. I walk up to her and see she is sleeping peacefully. Her face was buried in the pillow she was on and I couldn't help but feel something in my body jump. She was beautiful and- wait, what am I talking about, this i-is my husband's mistress. I can't fall for her. I refuse to fall for her
