Skyward Sword
The cool air surrounding your small form in the vast, open emptiness that is the sky calmed your sad heart. Link had completely stopped talking to you since that day you two went to the waterfall, and what hurt more was that Zelda seemed increasingly happy. Ok, maybe you were jumping to conclusions. Ugh! Why do your emotions always cloud your better judgement? Countless sleepless nights, really just three, flying around in the night sky left dark circles under your now dull (e/c). He left you sleepless, emotional, and empty.
"We aren't even...ya know." You breathed out to know one in particular. "Why do I feel like this?" Your bird made a particularly sarcastic sounding noise, and you glared at it from your position on its back. "Not helping (bird's name)." You sighed again. Suddenly you felt extremely rough and callused, long finger like limbs latch onto your shoulder, and you were lifted above the (color) loftwing. Talons kept you from squirming too much, but you still tried to escape despite the sting of piercing claws. Your loftwing squawked angrily at whoever had taken you and attempted to grab its master back. Flashes of green, gold, and dark purple prevented your loftwing from continuing its rescue mission. You looked up to see red feathers and brown boots. "Link, what the HELL is wrong with you?" You screamed. He didn't acknowledge you, he only kept flying.
Eventually you were dropped at the top of the Goddess' Statue. Link and his bird came to a stop at the opposite end of the platform. Once he was down he rushed over to you, and attempted to help you to your feet. Slapping his hand away, you shakily stood to your feet. He looked slightly hurt. "What the hell, Link?" you stated once you stood up.
"Sorry...I needed to talk to you." he trailed off.
"What's up? You haven't talked to me for four whole days." Your anger faded, and replaced by joy that he was talking to you again.
"I uh needed to sort somethings out." His face heated up slightly.
"Oh, I see." Your happiness became tainted with jealousy. Zelda. Turning, you began to walk to the edge of the statue with plans on calling your loftwing.
"Wait, (n-name), I uh wanted to ask y-you um something." His stutter was quite adorable mixed with the spout of red on his cheeks. "W-would you like to go out with me?" He bit his lip in anticipation to your answer.
"Y-yes. Of course!" you exclaimed nearly falling off the statue. Link caught you by the waist and brought you back to him.
Ocarina of Time
Your face still flushed constantly. That was all you saw in the mirror, red, red, red, and more red, because of that stupid painting. You couldn't bring yourself to finish the painting even, you couldn't even open the door without blushing. Link hasn't come over since then. OH GODDESSES! What have I done? You repeated the statement over and over again in your head as beads of silky water ran down your face. Placing your hands back into the magnifying bowl, you brought another splash of water to your face. You grabbed the towel and ran the scratchy fabric down your face to absorb sheer layer still left on your features. Sensitive Hylian ears picked up the neighing and whining of a horse not too far from the south, side of your home, you looked out the window and spied a beautiful horse.
You jogged out to meet the mare halfway. She greeted you happily with more neighs. Gently petting her soft nose, you spied a small parchment extending from her mouth. The note was crumpled and torn slightly, but a note none the less. It read...
Dear (y/n),
Hop on and hold tight.
That explains why the horse is in full saddle. You did not know who the note was from, it appeared to be girlish handwriting, but you followed the instructions anyway. The auburn mare took off full speed across the fields towards the entrance of Kokiri Forest. With white knuckles, you haven't rode a horse since you where three, you past through the wooden entrance. The mare slowed to a trot as the two of you crossed a wooden bridge and into a small village. The village was gorgeous. The sky had set to an amazing afternoon glow, small lights floated by illuminating the afternoon shadows, fairies of all colors stopped their busy days to say 'hello' as you passed by, and in the center of it all was a tall blonde hero surrounded by children no older than ten. Link held a small bouquet of flowers in his hand, and a warm smile on his face. A girl in a shimmering white gown with diamond eyes and forest green hair helped you off the horse. It took you awhile to realize that she was the Sage of the Forest. She welcomed you with a smile as happy as yellow daisies, and placed you at the border the forest children created.
