Jealousy (you) pt. 1

You're POV

Zelda drove you crazy, she was always trying to get Link's attention and prying you out of his life. You used to think of it as she and Link were old friends and she didn't want him to be gone, but after the little stunt she pulled a week ago you were convinced otherwise. Ever since then, she found ways to use your personality against you, sometimes flat out threatening you. She made fun of you, she hid your loftwing, she even went so far as to tell the teacher you wanted to do an extra assignment so you would have more work to do during the night. Link kept putting it off and told you not to worry about her, and that's what really pissed you off. 

Right now, you were making your bed in the small room that was given to you at the academy with new (f/c) sheets (just bought). When you heard Zelda's girlish giggles from right below your window, your first instinct was to ignore it and continue your task set in front of you. But Link's laugh soon followed right behind it, that made you stop. You dropped the old sheets on the ground and rushed over to the window. Looking down at the scene below you, a scowl greedily fought its way to your face. Link was laughing nervously with a small blush apparent on his cheeks, Zelda was smiling sheepishly at him with half-lidded eyes. Your scowl deepened when Zelda placed her hand on Link's chest. Link, obviously uncomfortable with the situation, tried to remove it from its place, but Zelda just moved it lower towards his belt. You growled darkly, practically throwing yourself out the window. 

Zelda gave a surprise gasp when you landed, Link took the opportunity and pushed Zelda off him. He didn't have enough time to get to you before you were stalking towards Zelda, pointing an accusing finger at her.

"What the hell do you think your doing?" Zelda feigned a hurt look by placing her hand to her mouth. 

"(Name)...calm down." Link said behind you. "Its alright she-" 

"Don't you dare go defending her again." You're fury turned on him. "She was clearly making a move on you, and you ignore me, your girlfriend, when I get mad about it." 

"(Name) I-" 

"Then you get angry with me for suspecting your childhood friend of trying to take you away saying that 'I am reading to much into it'. Well Link, look at the goddess damned evidence. I am up to my neck in distractions set up by her, just so she can try to snatch you up behind my back. I can't believe you get so worked up about a guy just looking at me when I-"

"(NAME)!" Link grabbed your shoulders and made you face him. "I'm sorry." Your eyebrows furrowed, he was giving up this easily? "I-I see your point, and I made a mistake. Forgive me?" You nodded. He leaned in to kiss you, but you placed a finger on his lips. 

"Uh uh. I'm still upset. You're not getting off the hook this easily." Link nodded solemnly. Later that day he took you out on the sweetest date in the world, and all was right again. 

Ocarina of Time

Ruto 

Your POV

You paced back and forth across the hallway, biting at your already short nails. Your mind wandered to dreadful places full of anger, pain, and sadness. Link's heavy footfalls resounded from the spare bedroom as he made his way out, emerging in a blue tunic, quite like his green one, with matching hat. With your back to him you hadn't noticed. 

"That's a bad habit, you know." He smiled at you kingly. Spinning around to face him, you noticed his new attire. 

"I don't want you to go to this..." You muttered. Princess Ruto had invited him to dine with her at the Zora's Palace. You wouldn't mind if Link hadn't accepted the Zora's Saphire during his quest, you knew that he couldn't have opened the Temple of Time without it, but it irked you that he was technically engaged to her. She was also really pretty, in ways even Zelda couldn't compare herself to. She had the perfect body, she was so confident with herself, and she knew had to please a man, you were sure of it. Just the idea that she had the ability to please Link made your chest swell with anger.

"Hey, after all she has done for me...this is the least I could do." Link placed a gentle hand on your cheek. 

"I know." You sighed placing your hand on his. "Just keep it that way." Link smirked, and gently placed his lips on your forehead. 

"Don't worry, (Name)." 

After watching him ride off on Epona towards the Zora kingdom, you entertained yourself with some light reading. Only problem was that anything you read related in some way, be it distantly or abstractly, to a woman seducing a man into cheating on his lover. Soon you found yourself gently drumming your fingers on the table with a glass of milk, untouched, by your side. An outrageous idea popped into your head, why not try a little spying. Link said he probably wouldn't be back until the moon was high in the sky, and it was just starting to rise now. You could be in an out in an hour tops, just to see what's going on. 

And that's how you found yourself hiding in a crevice along the very intricate carvings of the Zora's Domain, observing the friendly conversations between Link and Ruto. Ruto was dressed in a skimpy, sparkly purple dress with just small amount of fabric giving any sort of cover of her fishy chest for the occasion. Link was happily eating the food in front of him, using it as a distraction from the awkward situation. Everything seemed to be a relief until Ruto suddenly spoke.

"Link~" She cooed. "You look very nice in blue." She giggled. Link looked up and smiled uncomfortably. "You don't visit me very often. I thought that we would become closer after the end of the war." 

"Y-yeah well I've been busy, I guess." 

"It's a shame. If you weren't so busy we could spend more time together." Ruto's hand disapeared under the table, and you watched in agony as it was placed on Link's inner thigh. His knee jerked upwards, hitting the table. 

"Uh- um R-Ruto erm Aghem-" Link cleared his throat roughly, brushing away her hand. You snarled at the scene when suddenly your collar was grabbed by a slimy hand. 

"What are you doing here, Missy?" A Zora Guard spat at you. You were roughly escorted towards dining area where Link and Ruto were. "I found her snooping around." The gaurd shoved you forwards, and you turned your head back to glare at him. 

"State your name." Ruto stood up, her ruler side emerging. Link held a face with a mixture of surprise and anger. Oh boy.

"(Name)?" Link stood up as well. Ruto gave him a curious sidelong glance. 

"You know her?" She inquired. 

"Y-yeah I uh caught her in Castle Town for petty theft." Ruto smirked and snootily jerked her head up. 

"Guard! Take her to-" 

"No! Let me take care of her." Link stormed over to were you were and grabbed your arm. He dragged you outside to wear the horses were. Once outside he turned to you without anger or disappointment or surprise evident in his features, only relief. "Thank you. You don't know how much I wanted to get out of that place." 

YIKES! It's been awhile. I am going to be uploading this chapter in two parts bc it is pretty long. I apologize for not uploading in a while, but school makes you busy. I am going to be starting these random things I am calling Flash Stories. They will be mini stories of random cute moments that may occur for only a few characters. I know they seem like one-shots, but I will post them at random even in Oblivion or any other stories. If I am having a writers block or just want to write something I will. Warning these will contain lemons, limes, fluff, etc. Some of them will be depressing,  and some will be dirty. You'll never know.
