Gump helps Lili understand and come to terms with her resurrection, and the implications of the spell that binds her and Jack.
Gump gives Lili the choice whether to return to a life without the memory of Jack or Darkness, or to keep her life as she knows it and accept the responsibilty of not prompting Jack's memories to resurface.
Lili chooses to hold onto her memories and protect Jack from his own, in turn protecting both of them from the curse of a corrupted spell that would see both their demise.
Meanwhile, hapless dwarves, Brown Tom and Screwball, trigger Jack's memories after a squabble, accidently referring to him as his birth name, Vallon.
Ignoring Brown Tom and Screwball, Jack redirects his focus to Lili, as she calls for him to return. He does so, despite Gump's advice not to visit her.
Once reunited, Lili's desire for him overtakes her promise and invites Jack to stay with her ...
Will Jack's memories return in time or will they be forced into recollection by wayward passion...
Part III
Lili leads Jack toward her bed, her lips locked to his in a slow and steady kiss, as she presses her body against his.
Her hands fumble at the drawstring of his tunic, failing to remove it beneath his wings folded over it...
She laughs, defeated, as his wings halt all attempts to undress him.
Amused, Jack leans away from her, noting her struggle, "They pose a problem, don't they..?"
Lili looks over his attire, confused by its function versus his wings, "How do you even dress, let alone undress?"
"Here, I'll show you..." Jack replies, as his wings dematerialize before Lili's eyes, allowing for him to slip the tunic off with no effort at all.
"Is there magic in all you do?" Lili asks, as her eyes and hands trail over his bare chest.
"You're yet to find out.." Jack replies, as he delicately peels away her night dress from her shoulders, allowing it to fall gently down to her waist, revealing her soft and fragile body beneath it.
Lili trembles, as Jack holds her to him, caressing her as he tenderly trails a line of kisses down her body, starting at the nape of her neck, then down toward her chest.
Lili breathes deeply, steadying herself and unintentionally halting him, as her nervous heart is shared with his,
"Do, I frighten you?" Jack asks, worry flashing in his eyes," I only want, as you do. I won't demand more." Jack reassures her, raising the top of her night dress back up over her chest.
Lili sits down upon her bed, drawing her night dress up around her, timidly,
"I don't mean to tease you...I just.... I'm overwhelmed by what I feel. Not to mention, my father, or his guards, could walk in at anytime."
Jack sits beside her, stroking her hair gently, then casts his sight upon Lili's chamber door.
He spies a barricade sitting loose beside the door, "I can brace the door?"
"If you do, I'll be in trouble. My chambers must always be accesible to the King's guard, should an attack occur. I was thoughtless to ask you to stay. A friendly hawk spending the night with me, is one thing. A strange man in my bed..? Well, is quite another."
Jack smiles, sliding her hair away from her shoulder, exposing her neck. He traces his lips over her soft skin, brushing against the back of one of her ears and then back down to her shoulder. He whispers, "But, I am no stranger, nor am I a man.."
