I watch Natasha as she frantically tries to tell me something when she gets interrupted by Dylan I watch the panic form in her eyes "shit!" she mumbles as I turn around to look at Dylan and...Adriana? what the hell is she doing here? I look at both of them and see they're holding hands "oh" I stare at their hands for a couple seconds before looking at both of them I look at Dylan and he just avoids my gaze "hey Dyl nice to see you" Xena says coldy I guess trying to relive some of the tension around us "hey Xe its good to see you too" he smiles nervously.
I watch the encounter still staring at Dylan but from my side view I can see Adriana tensing up and looking everywhere but at us I turn around and watch as Natasha stares into her soul burning daggers into her skin "well it's not like she doesn't deserve it" I grab Nat by the waist pulling her towards me so she doesn't try anything but that doesn't stop Nat from staring at Adriana "hey Nat" Dylan says greeting her she slowly turns her head breaking her gaze from Adriana who refuses to look at her. I step backgiving them their space. She gives Dylan a fake smile before saying, "Hi Dylan." She greets him back blankly he goes in for a hug and she hesitantly hugs him back.
"You look amazing" he tells her resting his hand on her hip for a minute "thank you" she half smiles at him I watch closes at his hands and the way he grabs her "I know I have no right to care but she's gonna be mine one day plus I have to keep a close watch on her cause that's my job, still doesn't stop the jealousy running through my veins" I force myself to stop looking at them and look over at Adriana who smiles and then looks down with a blush on her face "I used to think that was the cutest thing ever but its not even near as cute when Nat does it." "Hey Vin" Dylan says to me I give him a head nod and just look at him "so how's the job treating you?" he asks trying to make conversation.
"It's great I get to spend time with an amazing family everyday and be with my best friend every day I mean there's definitely been some life or death moments but I would do it again a million times just to see her everyday" I say looking down at Nat who smiles up at me I wrap my hand back around her waist and pull her closer to me "so what are you two together now or something?" Adriana asks looking at both of us Nat's smile instantly drops when she hears her talk.
