Now we are with James

James:
Before I told you what happens in my day let me tell you what I did before Nova left with the guys I made some kids party food because she was making a lot this is what I made funfetti popcorn and this is how you make it.

35m prep
10m cook
makes 8 cups

Ingredients:
2 tbsp sunflower oil
1/2 cup popping corn
180g white chocolate, chopped
2 tbsp magic star tops sprinkles

Step 1
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add 2 corn kernels (oil is hot enough when corn turns slowly in a circle). Add remaining corn. Cover with a tight-fitting lid. When corn starts popping shake pan often to prevent kernels from burning, for 3 to 4 minutes or until corn stops popping.

Step 2
Transfer popcorn to a bowl. Discard any unpopped corn.

Step 3
Line a large tray with baking paper.

Step 4
Place chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM (50%), stirring with a metal spoon halfway, for 2 minutes or until smooth. Place popcorn in a large bowl. Drizzle with chocolate. Working quickly, toss to coat. Spread onto prepared tray. Scatter with sprinkles. Stand for 30 minutes or until set. Break popcorn into pieces. Serve.

Nova:
And this is funfetti popcorn next we are made is apple smiles and this is how you make it.

Ingredients:
20g butter, softened, for greasing
4 granny smith apples
1/4 cup hundreds and thousands
1/4 cup natural flaked almonds, crushed
1/4 cup shredded coconut
3 x 200g packets butterscotch lollies

Step 1
Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Lightly grease baking paper with butter.

Step 2
Cut each apple in half through the stem. Cut each half into 3 wedges. Using a small sharp knife, carefully remove core. Insert 1 ice-cream stick into the skin-side base of each apple wedge to create a 'smile'.

Step 3
Place hundreds and thousands, almonds and coconut in 3 separate shallow bowls.

Step 4
Unwrap butterscotch lollies and place in a small saucepan. Add 1 1/2 tablespoons cold water. Place over medium heat. Stir constantly for 10 minutes or until lollies have melted and mixture is boiling.

Step 5
Pat apple wedges dry with paper towel (see notes). Working quickly and using 1 wedge of apple at a time, dip 8 apple 'smiles' into toffee, then into hundreds and thousands to lightly coat. Place on prepared tray. Repeat process with remaining apple smiles, almonds and coconut (see notes). Stand for 20 minutes or until set. Serve.
