Tendou stared at the projector screen in front of him, teary. They had been in class watching a documentary about something in science and currently a baby cub was being left alone. Tendou thought he looked sad.

Ushijima turned, feeling that something was wrong. He sighed, seeing Tendou's cheeks soaked with tears. "Sir! May Tendou and I step out of the room?"

"Absolutely not. You two spend enough time having to leave class together." The teacher looked up and scowled. "Stay quiet."

Ushijima helplessly looked to Tendou, knowing how hard it must be with a baby on the way and seeing a baby being harmed. Ushijima turned and took a deep breath. He tapped Tendou's desk. "Close your eyes."

"Ushijima! I'm sure you're well aware I don't care about the volleyball team. I'm not afraid to suspend you."

Tendou gripped the desk, using a hand to cover his eyes as he sobbed. Ushijima needed to comfort him. He was distressed and the baby would be too if he kept crying.

"I suggest you turn around."

The class stared as Ushijima got up and led Tendou out of the room. Tendou was held in the hallway and gently swayed back and forth.

"That poor baby. Oh that poor baby."

Ushijima kissed his hair and rocked him. "I'm here. I'm here. It's okay. Breathe love. Breathe."

"I'm trying!" Tendou sobbed. The door opened and Tendou only started to sob harder. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to disturb the class! I'm so sorry! I'm sorry!"

"What is wrong with you?!"

Ushijima growled loudly. "Lower your voice."

"Young man I won't have you disrespecting me. I don't care how close you two are to each other, you will not do anything to disrespect me again." He straightened up. "Both of you will be suspended."

Ushijima growled louder. "He can't help it."

Tendou tried desperately to calm down but just felt as if he would never be able to calm down. He was dizzy and he hurt.

"He's going through a lot at the moment."

"Nothing warrants disrespect."

"Nothing warrants you being rude to a student when he's under incredible distress." Ushijima hugged Tendou against himself. He felt his stomach press against his and loosened his hold.

"It's a documentary."

"They left that baby alone! He could've died!" Tendou shouted. "No baby should be left alone like that!"

"That cub did die."

Tendou held a hand over his mouth. Ushijima noticed why and got him to a trash can. Tendou threw up, holding a hand over his stomach. "They're kicking. I need to pee. I hurt."

Ushijima got him to his knees and held his hands. "Breathe."

"I'm trying." Tendou started to whimper. He fiddled with his hands, rocking back and forth. "I can't."

Ushijima looked up. "Will you please go get the nurse. She has his medication and he needs to eat."

The teacher got one of his students to go get the nurse. Tendou held onto Ushijima the whole time, crying. "I can't- I can't- I-I-"

Ushijima held Tendou closer and kissed his hair. He pulled his phone from his pocket and called Tendou's mother, scenting his mate slowly to ease him down from his panicked state. The nurse got Tendou his medicine and Ushijima held his free hand as his blood sugar was taken.
