Tendou glanced at his phone and furrowed his brows. Ushijima was texting him.

Wa-kun:
I need you to find an excuse for me to leave the school quickly. Please.

Tendou looked up and saw Ushijima's knee bouncing at the front of the classroom. He sighed and went back to his phone.

Me:
???

Wa-kun:
My stomach is cramping. I'm hungry and I'm worried I'm going to lash out at someone.

Tendou got up slowly, grateful for their teacher being lenient. He went to Ushijima and leaned down, carefully setting his hand on his arm. "Hey..."

Ushijima looked over and Tendou's heart broke. He looked so upset.

"You don't look too good."

"I feel sick."

Tendou took his hand and eased him up. "Let's go to the clinic."

Ushijima nodded and followed him to the teacher's desk.

"Sir?"

Their teacher looked up. "What's going on?"

"Can I take Ushijima to the clinic? He's not feeling too good."

"Go ahead. Feel better."

Tendou smiled and took Ushijima to the clinic where he got the nurse to check if his mother was still on the list to check Ushijima out. She was and he stayed with Ushijima until his mother came and got him.

"Hey mama."

"Hey. What's going on?"

"He's hungry."

Ushijima looked up. "I'm sorry."

"Don't be sorry." She leaned down and took his hand. "Where's your bag?"

"In the classroom."

"I'll go get it." Tendou hurried to grab Ushijima's things and brought them back, promising to watch him when he came back from school.

When Tendou did get home he rushed to find Ushijima being scolded by his mother, his own nowhere in sight.

"I clothe you and bathe you and give you everything you need! Why in the HELL are you coming here of all places to get anything?"

Tendou froze in the doorway. This was not going to be fun.

"All that boy does is talk and scream. I don't like you hanging around someone like him."

"He's very kind. He doesn't have any bad intentions, I promise. It's just that when I go into a rut I get extremely hungry afterwards. I can work it back off."

"I'm not worried about your weight. I'm worried that this boy is going to do to you. He is going to poison you."

Tendou stepped into the kitchen. "Wakatoshi! Did you get enough to eat? Are you feeling better?"

"I'm feeling better, thank you."

Tendou smiled. "Great to hear." He turned to Ushijima's mother. "Hi! It's been so long since I've seen you. Did you get your hair cut? It's nice."

"I did."

"Awesome!" He set down his bag. "How was work? Wakatoshi said you had the night shift."

"I did." She looked at Ushijima. "I didn't know he told people those things."

"Oh just occasionally. I called him and we were talking about you."

"You were talking about me?"

"Nothing bad!"

Ushijima glanced between the two. He wanted to ball up and cry. He hated the energy between these two. "Satori?"

Tendou looked over. "You can go lay down in my room. I'm okay."

"But-"

"I know. I'm okay. Go lay down." Tendou smiled lovingly. "I'll bring you something yummy."

Ushijima got up and went to Tendou's room, which was luckily in the basement away from everything. He laid down and took in Tendou's scent. He despised feeling this hungry.

Tendou came back downstairs and handed him a plate full of steamed buns that he'd picked up on the way home. "Here you go."

Ushijima sat up and took the plate. He handed a bun to Tendou and ate. He ate and ate until his stomach stopped screaming at him to eat. He relaxed into the headboard.

"Is that better?"

"Much," Ushijima whispered.

"I'm glad." Tendou moved the plate, sitting next to Ushijima. He put his hand on his chest.

"My mother-"

"I sent her home. She said it was okay for you to watch a movie here as long as we stay in the living room." Tendou laughed. "I so badly wanted to tell her that I would fuck you sensless anyways."

"Oh is that what we're planning on doing?"

Tendou giggled. "Wa-kun we don't hook up that often."

Ushijima smiled. He leaned forward, holding Tendou's chin. "Is it okay that we kiss even though I ate?"

"That's perfectly fine."

Ushijima kissed him before pulling away, hearing the boards creak above them. "Your mother is going to see."

"Shit." Tendou got up and cleaned up the bed, putting the dishes away and going back and acting like he was trying to clean up the floor. His mom walked into the room and raised her brows.

"Why are you two so quiet?"

"Are two almost grown men not allowed to sit in silence?" Tendou stood, popping a hip and putting his hand on it.

"Oh shut up. Are you feeling better Wakatoshi?"

"Much."

"Awesome." She leaned down and sniffed of him. "You two smell like each other."

"Mom?!"

She laughed before kissing Tendou's hair. "I don't care. Just don't be loud. And use protection."

Tendou's face turned scarlet. "Stop it! I am not- we are not-"

"Satori. Calm down," Ushijima mumbled.

Tendou gulped. He stretched. Tendou's mother pat his shoulder. "I'm going to bed. Please go to bed at a decent time."

"We will."

"Good. I love you two. Good night." She left and Tendou immediately started taking off his school uniform.

Ushijima turned on a movie and opened his arms for Tendou to crawl into. Tendou got on his pajama pants and a t-shirt, huddling into him.

"Are you okay Satori?"

"Just tired."

"Are you sure?" Ushijima slipped his hand into Tendou's waistband.

Tendou melted into him. "Just one time."

Ushijima chuckled. He turned, pining Tendou into the bed and going straight for his neck. God he loved him.
