Chapter 25 (We're Married)

Tom: Hello, Mr. Andrew! I'm Tom!
Andrew: Welcome, Mr. Tom!
Tom turned to Emma and extended his hand to her.
Tom: Hello!
Emma extended her hand while smiling sternly.
Emma: It's Emma.
Tom: Nice to meet you!
Emma nodded.
Andrew: Have a seat, Mr. Tom!
Tom sat down. Emma was looking at Tom with uncomfortable glances, but she turned to Andrew.
Emma: I'll go complete my work then.
Andrew: Okay, tell me when you finish so we can leave together.
Emma nodded and Andrew kissed her cheek. She reddened and smiled at him before leaving. Andrew sat and Tom began talking.

Tom: You're in a relationship, right?
Andrew: Yes, she's my future wife.
Tom: Congratulations, Mr. Andrew!
Andrew: Thank you!
Tom: Actually, I came here to discuss with you face to face.
Andrew: Good thinking, let's start then!
Andrew and Tom began working, and Emma watched them through the glass. She didn't like Tom from the first sight. After a while, Andrew and Tom finished their meeting.
Tom: I think the meeting went well. We can sign the contracts in 2 weeks, once the lawyers have finalized them.
Andrew: Actually, in 2 weeks I won't be here because I'm getting married. Peter can take my place, and I'll fill him in on all the details we discussed.

Tom was annoyed, but he didn't show it.
Tom: No problem! Congratulations again, Mr. Andrew! And I'll wait for my invitation, so I can bring my wife and come.
Andrew: Sure, sure, Mr. Tom!
Tom got up and extended his hand, and Andrew did the same.
Tom: Nice to meet you and see you soon!
Andrew: Likewise! See you!
Tom left, and Emma entered Andrew's office. Andrew extended his hand to invite her to sit on his lap again.
Emma: Did the meeting go well?
Andrew: Yes, I think it's going to be a good deal.
Emma: I didn't like that man, Andrew! I feel like he's not a good person. His glances on you were weird. Just be careful, okay?

Andrew: Okay, don't worry about it! Did you finish your work?
Emma: Hmm, I've been waiting for you for a long time.
Andrew: I'm sorry about that! But I think there's some work you didn't complete.
Andrew said while playing with some of her hair and putting it behind her ear. Emma looked at him questioningly, so he kept turning his gaze between her eyes and lips. Emma smiled and approached him until they kissed. After a few minutes, they separated to catch their breath. Emma put her forehead on his while caressing his cheek.
Emma: Let's go home! We have a lot of things to finish before the weekend.

Andrew smiled and helped her to get up, then he put on his jacket, and they left the company before Noah and Emma's friends. They went to set the wedding day, and they set it for the beginning of next week. They left happily because they managed to get married before the time Emma had to go back to Turkey. They went home and told their families the date.
Olivia: It's so close! We haven't even chosen our dresses. What are we going to do?
Sia: No problem, honey! We can go to my friend's store and choose whatever we want! We can solve it, don't worry, Emma!
Emma smiled and held Andrew's hand. The next morning, Andrew called Emma.

Emma: Good morning!
Andrew: Good morning! Are you still sleeping?
Emma: Yes, is it still a little early for work?
Andrew: Yes, but get ready anyway. We need to go somewhere before work!
Emma: Where are we going?
Andrew: You'll see, just get up!
Emma: Okay!!
Emma quickly took a shower and got ready before leaving her room. She found Andrew leaving his room as well.
Emma: What's going on? Where are we going so early?
Andrew: Just come on!
Andrew took her hand and led her to the car. After driving for some time, they arrived at their destination. Andrew got out of the car and took Emma with him.

Emma's eyes widened when she saw the beautiful setting by the sea. There was a table, elegantly decorated, and they were completely alone. Emma turned to Andrew, thrilled.
Emma: When did you set all of this up?
Andrew: Do you like it?
Emma: I love it! It's... It's amazing!
Emma hugged Andrew with gratitude.
Emma: Thank you!
Emma stepped back to admire the beautiful scenery.
Andrew: Emma!
Emma: Yes?
Emma turned to see Andrew holding a small box.
She gasped when she saw the ring inside, and tears filled her eyes.
