Being Bjergsen's Bae

Victory?

"Wake up you lovebirds, we need to talk strategy!" Said Loco, shaking Søren's and my shoulder.

We both groaned and stretched our arms out. Bjerg and I sat up, rubbed our eyes and ready to listen to Loco.

"Okay guys, so the analysts and I both agree that we should play pretty safe this game, and just wait for them to make a mistake and snowball it from there." Said Loco, looking up from his notepad.

Everyone around nodded a little bit to show they agreed.

"Dyrus, we're gonna want you on Sion, just like we planned before. If they ban him then go Rumble."

Dyrus gave a small nod of approval.

"Bjerg you're gonna either go Xerath or Ori, it depends on what Slooshi picks. Just use your judgement. As for bot lane, we're gonna go with s standard Jinx and Thresh okay?"

"Yeah sounds good." I said

"Santorin, either Vi or Sej K?"

"Okay." Replied Santorin.

We went over the full strategy for about 30 minutes until we were called to the stage. We walked through long winding hallways to come to a door that had "BACKSTAGE 1" written on it. The whole team walked through the door with our keyboards and mouses and headed to our seats. I saw that my little segment on being a girl in the LCS was on. It was so weird to see how they twisted and manipulated my words so that I could fit their perfect image of myself. We hooked up our mouses and head sets while the announcers were rambling on about the segment. After about 5 or so minutes of rambling, picks and bans started. We were banking first. Team 8 banned Rumble, Xerath, and Jinx while we banned Vi, Graves and Maokai.

"Turtle wanna go Kalista since they banned Jinx?" I asked.

"Yeah, we can first pick her." Replyed Jason.

"K" said Dyrus, who was first pick.

We ended up going Sion, Sejuani, Leblanc, Kalista and Thresh. T8 went Malphite, Nidalee, Ahri, Siver and Annie.

10 minutes into the game, Bjergsen got a solo kill on Slooshi, and him and Santorin got Drag. The game was looking well until Turtle and k fed a double kill to Porpoise at 20 minutes in when I got caught out warding their blue.

"C'mon, you guys knew he was missing! Why'd you go into his jungle?" Said Bjergsen in a little bit of an angry voice.

"Sorry." Jason and I replied.

"Whatever, we'll talk about it later." Said Bjerg. "We've still got this game in the bag."

20 minutes and 3 inhibitors later, team 8 surrendered. I exploded up and waved my hands around, so proud of my first victory in the LCS. I gave turtle a big hug and kissed Bjergsen on the cheek. The crowd "awwed". Just 1 step closer to worlds.
