Well my mom stormed into my room on a Friday "Perce? Hey baby, I have important stuff to do and
I'm Gonna be heading to the airport when your grandparents get here. I'm letting u skip school all next week if you would like to. Don't forget your grandparents are coming to pick you up they should be here by tonight. Can you do me a favor and clear out the guest bedroom? they'll stay there for the night since they can't drive in the dark and you guys will be heading back to Woodsboro ok?" Says my mom barging into my room

I blush covering my computer with my blanket nonchalantly.
"Mom! Please knock before you come in! Also what are you talking about?"

  "I thought I told you last Sunday u have to spend the rest of the school year in North California! Aren't you excited you get to see ur old friends again?"

"No, Mom I'm not..... I don't have any friends in Woodsboro except Casey and we don't even talk that much!"

My mom sighs running her fingers through her hair
"I've been getting messages on my phone from your friends since we moved I guarantee you they missed you. I know they'll be glad to see you. I don't know what happened but it couldn't have been that bad. Tell me what's really happening sweetheart."

"Mom I don't want to see any of them. I'm happy here! I'm popular, respected, and I have good grades!"

my mom looks at me annoyed "for one you haven't even talked to Sidney and the group to know that they hate you, from what I've heard they miss you and text you with updates but you don't respond and don't even open the messages.

I'm annoyed "I don't need to do any of that to know they hate me! You weren't there! You didn't see or hear the things I did!"

My mom sighs "we'll have you even began packing because it looks like you haven't. You know how they act when they have to wait for to long and I don't want to hear any complaints from them".

"Mom please don't make me go. I can just stay here at home or with dad I can find him please don't do this to me. Don't make me go back to that town. Please don't do this to me."

My mom reply's "it's already been done your going to be enrolled in the school and are going to be heading to New Orleans in the morning. Now you should get up and get packed you have a lot to do. Especially since you haven't started. Now did Casey agree to letting you stay for a while?

"Mom please listen to me! The town is one huge group of vampires they just take and take! You should know this better then anyone. You're supposed to understand!"

my mom rolls her eyes annoyed "You are 17 yrs old, I will send for you when they get here it should be in a few hours." she says trying to leave to go do more work

I scoff knowing what she was hinting too
"Mom that is not fair! I help, I help when I can, no matter what I do u find something wrong with what I helped with! You're never never happy with what I do! I thank you all of the time that I'm here still living! But the town your trying to send me back to almost made me kill my self! Why are you just ignoring that!? The only reason I'm still alive and well is because you got me a dog! A dog saved my life!"

"I don't have any other choice! I can't trust you to stay here alone! This will be better for your mental health you'll get stronger!"

I'm so annoyed right now "I don't need to be stronger I need you to listen to me! Why can't you do that?!"

    my mom scoffs "You think going to school? Where your safe, off the streets, where u can learn is bad?
I cannot wait for you to grow up and realize people around you have worked so much harder than you ever will. this generation is so much different than the one I grew up in, you have much more privilege than I did, then I do."
