Jughead was taking me on a date. I don't know where. He just said warm clothes only.

"Toni, come on please tell me!" I pleaded desperately as she handed me a cute pink jacket that had fluffy fuzz at the end.

"Nope sorry I can't he give me $30 not to tell you." I rolled my eyes once she said that. I heard a honk. I start to panic.

"Toni, what if I never did this?" I asked panicky. She shrugged. I heard a honk again.

I got a text from him and I read, "Come on, time schedule here." He texted. I tried to leave the room. But Toni caught my arm.

"No you don't, I still got 5 minutes." She said, But it was true, he said 4:30 and it's only 4:25. She put pink blush on me and my pink lipstick.

I checked my phone. "Toni it's 4: 28 please!" I begged. She rolled her eyes.

"Fine, go." She told me. I thanked her and ran down the stairs.

"Don't fall," she yelled. I rolled my eyes but I don't know if she was talking about me right now or later.

"Elizabeth, why are you running?" My mother, Alice, asked. She got her blonde hair in a bun.

"Mom, I have a date, Toni's upstairs, love you." I told her and ran into the door. Betty, you're supposed to open the door, I told myself. I heard my mom chuckle. I opened the door and went out. I saw his car. Black with tinted windows it's good that he has those for one reason which I'm not going to tell you.

He opened the door for me. I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Thank you." I told him and got in. "Where are we going?" I asked as he got in.

"Can't tell you." He said I pouted I hated surprises.

"Juggie please." I said he shook his head no and his curls flew in his face. He put his hand on his face and put them back over the air.

Once we got there they were just a few cars. I read on the sign. "Riverdale Ice Skating Rink" I shook my head "Jughead I can't skate!" I told him. He got out of the car and came to my side to open the door.

"Betts, I know how, and it's only for a couple hours." He told me. I rolled my eyes. But I got out I sighed. Then a smiling Jughead kissed me.

"I love you." He said when he pulled away.

"I love you too," I held his hand as he walked with me to the entrance of the Ice skating rink. We went to the front office and there was an older lady standing at the counter about in her 40s or 50s.

"What size," The woman asked.

"9 and 6," Jughead answered for me. I smiled and nodded. The woman bent over and grabbed the shoes that we asked for. One was bigger than the other and was black and white. The other I guess mine was pink and white.

"It would be thirty dollars," I took out my wallet so I could pay but Jughead shook his head.

"I'll pay, my treat I promise." He said and gave thirty dollars to the woman and I smiled and kissed his cheek. I grabbed mine and he grabbed his shoes. There was a seat that had two and we both sat in it. We put it on and laced it. Jughead was done with his so he helped me. He was done in seconds.

"Thanks, Juggie." I told him and kissed him. He pulled away and led me to the rink which wasn't that far away. It had a big shield made of glass.

I almost slipped and Jughead caught me. I held his hand.

"Betty, you're fine." He reassured me that I was balanced now.

I was holding his hands.

"I know, I'm with you." I said still gliding through the ice. I got cold in an hour so we left the rink. We took our shoes off and went to Pop's.

"Thanks Juggie for the best date ever!" I exclaimed and kissed him. He laughed and kissed me back. "I love you." I said.

"I love you too Betts," I smiled when he said that.
