I woke up laying in a bed that I haven't been in before yesterday. I saw my best friend's boyfriend laying on his back with a smile. I got up and got dressed. I looked in a mirror he had in his bathroom. I looked on my neck. I saw a dark purple bruise. Fuck, I thought to myself. What am I going to wear to cover that thing up. I sighed and just left it there.
"Betty?" Jughead mumbled as he woke up. He looked on the other side of the bed then at me.
"Bye, Jughead, gotta go." I said covering up my neck that he made.
"Bye Betty." He said then laid back down. I walked out of his parents house without waking them up and then walked to my house to get my stuff for school.
"Betty, where the hell have you been?" My mom, Alice, asked, her hair's in a messy bun and she's wearing a bright pink bathrobe.
"Sorry, I slept over at Veronica's." I said. Going up the stairs my hair is covering my neck now.
"Fine whatever. Next time call me." She said. I mumbled an "okay." Then walk to my room. I changed out of my last nights cloths into new fresh cloths completely forgetting something I ran out the door with my bag hanging from my shoulder. Once I got to the school I gone to the student lounge. Where surprisingly not I saw Veronica and Jughead kissing and flitting which is driving me crazy. I sat down in one of the single chairs and started to read on of my books I had in my bag from yesterday.
"Betty... What's on your neck?" Veronica asked getting off Jughead. Her black/raven hair is down and with her pearl necklace on that her daddy gave her. "So who's the guy?" Veronica asked holding Jughead's hand.
"Nobody, and what are you talking about?" I asked. She pointed where I completely forgot about the hickey.
"Ohh, that. Umm...." I tried to think up a story. I looked at Jughead foe help but he shrugged.
"So Betty who's the guy?" Jughead asked causally. Veronica rolled her eyes.
"Babe, if she's not going to me she's definitely not going to tell you." Veronica said, I started to think of something that would make a little since.
"It's a really cute guy he's from the Southside and he has black hair." I said, then Jughead smirked. I rolled my eyes.
"Am I going to meet this handsome man of yours?" Veronica asked I shook my head but thought, you're sitting on my man right now.
"No, he said it was a one time thing." I said, Veronica nodded her head Jughead just glared at me.
"Hey umm, babe can I speak to Betty about the Blue and Gold stuff I have to write?" Jughead asked Veronica, moving her to the side of him.
"Betty? Blue and Gold?" I nodded walking behind him. As soon as the door. closed our lips were touching. But I pulled away.
"Betty, I never said anything about not doing this again." Jughead said I nodded my head.
"I know Juggy but it was Veronica and her questions I just wanted her to stop." I explained to him kissing him again. Then pulled away, he groaned.
"Cooper you need to stop doing that." He said. i rolled my eyes then put my bag on my one side so I can dig through it. "What are you looking for?" Jughead asked me I sighed.
"I need concealer. Which I didn't pack any." I said. Then he moved and opened a draw.
"Omg!" I exclaimed. "I'm so smart." I said then he shook his head.
"Well, Betty you didn't do this I did, just in case we got out of hand at school." He said, I laughed.
"Jughead you are my best friend's boyfriend!" I exclaimed. He shrugged.
"Pointing being?" Jughead asked, moving his fingers.
"You're unbelievable and crazy." I said putting on the concealer on the hickey.
"Maybe I'm just crazy for you." He said, I was a little surprised by that. Damn this guy is good.
i kissed him one more time but he kissed back. Then it got into some kind of fight trying to get dominance then we heard a knock on the door. I jumped back a couple feet between him.
"Veronica, yes?" I asked as Jughead opened the door. She rolled her eyes.
"I'm going to practice." She said looking at me.
"V, I'm skipping practice today because of some unfinished Blue and Gold stuff I have to write." I said Jughead nodded. She rolled her eyes and looked at her phone and texted somebody.
"Okay, bye baby," she said giving Jughead a kiss. I looked away not wanting to be mad at them because of how I feel. The she pulled away and walked out.
"Damn Jughead." I said laughing. "you can kiss a girl." I said he rolled his eyes.
"What are you jealous.." He asked. I fiddled with my hands.
"Juggy you already know the question to that." I said he looked at me concerned.
"Betts I promise I will break up with her if you want me to. I widened my eyes in horror. My best friend would.be devastated if Jughead broke up with her for no good reason.
"God, Jug no, Veronica would be crying and lonely." I said protesting.
"So, you're lonely and my best friend." He said shrugging. I didn't like how he said we're only friends but it was true.
"Okay fine, if you want to." I said, walking toward him and leaning him in to kiss him.
"Love you Cooper." He said when he pulled away. I smiled and sighed.
"Jones, I love you too, but got a problem you're with my bestie." I said he rolled his eyes like he didn't care and kissed me.
