Tatum and Ryung walk into the I-1 training room, at 7:57am.

"How did you hold up yesterday?" Ryung asked Tatum.

"I did alright, Didn't get injured yet." Tatum says with a weak laugh.

"Yeah, by the end of training, you'll be saying something different." Ryung says with a laugh.

Each 984 Candidates get into line formations. This time Tatum is 2nd row, and 3rd column.

The rows are uneven yet again, with 30 people in a row and 32 in columns, 960 people are in even rows, except for the odd 984. Tatum knew that Jung-Hoon was going to cut those people.

Right at 8:00am, Jung-Hoon arrives with his friends trailing behind him in a synchronized march.

"The people who couldn't make the lines even, today's your lucky day. You're out!" Jung-Hoon said cockily, as he's proud of the power he holds.

The 24 people who couldn't make the lines left. Some cursing and some shedding a few tears.

Gosh, Jung-Hoon's a dick, Tatum thought.

Tatum annoyed by his arrogant demeanor, mustered enough courage to speak up, "Is that really necessary?" Her voice rang through the training room, heads turned to look at her. Some gasped, some were annoyed with her.

Jung-Hoon's snapped in Tatum's direction and began to angrily strut towards her. Tatum was nervous at his presence but she didn't let it show.

"You got something to say, Auburn?" He asked tauntingly.

"Yeah I do. You're cutting immortals for no reason." Tatum says annoyedly. There was the odd few immortals that nodded in agreement.

"Why is that your problem?" Jung-Hoon asked and crossed his arms across his chest.

"Because they could be the best fighters, but now we'll never know." Tatum says to him.

"They aren't, because I cut them." Jung-Hoon says nonchalantly.

"Yeah because you-" Tatum voices gets cut off by Jung-Hoon, "I can cut whoever I want, whenever I want, if you don't like it. Get out!" He yells at her, and turns his heel to walk back to the front.

Some immortals still staring at Tatum, shocked she had guts to the I-1 Leader that he was wrong.

"Today, we will be incorporating boxing with katanas." Jung-Hoon says and brings out a curved, single-edged blade with a circular guard.

"Katanas originated from Japan, Kata means one-sided, and Na means blade. It's a one-sided blade." Jung-Hoon says holding the katana in his hand and waving it around like show and tell.

"Is that where your from sir?" A male voice rang out. Jung-Hoon's head snapped in the direction of the voice.

"What did you say?" Jung-Hoon asks, taking a step closer to the young boy.

"J-Japan, are you from there?" He asked hesitantly.

"I'm from South Korea, dipshit. Get out!" Jung-Hoon says angrily as the young boy runs quickly out of the room.

Are you kidding me? It was an honest mistake, Tatum thought.

"Anyone else want to say something stupid?" Jung-Hoon asked angrily, waving the katana around like it's a toy.

No one said anything, until Jung-Hoon makes eye contact with Tatum, "What about you, Auburn? You seemed confident before, you want to say something stupid?" Jung-Hoon asked looking in her direction, Tatum aggressively shakes her head left to right, signaling no.
