Sleep was far away from her eyes. She sat on the bean bag in the balcony and made herself comfortable as she closed her eyes to feel the breeze on her face. The cold breeze gave her a feeling of calmness. She loved it that way, feeling the nature and getting lost in herself as she recalled her AnuSeena moments. She used to remember them quite often but today, it was different, all that went in her mind was about the current day's scenario and the chaat date incident, she took out the same pictures which AS had on the photo frame. She glanced them.
HM traced her fingers on those photos in her mobile phone and sighed. She then took a deep breath as she layed back and closed her eyes while tears rolled down her cheeks.
Soon her trance was broken when she realised that there was a hand on HM's shoulder. She understood without opening her eyes itself, it was the presence of her familiar person, her KS. She held KS's hand and brought her infront of her and opened her eyes and gave her a tiny smile.
KS knelt infront of HM and wiped her tears.
KS: Anu bhaiya ka yaad aa rha hai na aapko
HM looked at some other side trying to hide her feelings
KS: 10 saal se toh sab chupa ke akeli hi sehti aayi hai aap Hasu... Ab toh hume mauka dijiye... Kya bharosa uth Gaya hai aapka humari dosti se?
HM placed her hand in front of KS's preventing her to speak further
HM: aisa nahi hai Karu... Bas... aap aisa mat boliye... Aap hi toh hai humari sabse achi dost, bestfriend, humari jaan
KS: haha (said with brim eyes) ab jaan ka replacement ho Gaya hai vaise... Kisi aur ne jagah le liya vo vala
HM looked at KS with questioning eyes
KS: Khushi ka baat kar rahe hai hum... Dekha hai humne.... Bohot jyada maanti hai aapko
HM: jii vo toh hai... (HM said with a genuine smile)
KS: aap na, us ulti khopdi ke baare mei soch ke apna mood mat bigadhiye... Vaise hi itne time baad apne sheher aayi hai
HM: hmm (said getting lost into thoughts)
KS: coffee??
HM: kya?
KS: coffee piyenge?
HM: haan
KS: toh bana dijiye hum dono ke liye
HM: hum kyu?
KS: aapko pina hai na
HM: areh par aapko bhi toh pina hai
KS: par hume aapke haath ka pina hai...
HM: areh par
KS: ab chaliye bhi
Saying this KS took HM's right hand and started pulling her dramatically but HM tightened her grip and remained firm so that KS will not be able to pull her. So KS left her hand and sighed (Huff ) and to that HM responded with a smirk
KS: hey bhagwan, kha khaake mota billi ho gayi hai aap
HM: kya kaha aapne (HM said with widened eyes)
KS: mota billi (said KS and made a "🤪" face and went from there)
HM: areh o... Kidhar jaa rhi hai
HM said and followed her
HM: rukiye aap idhar aaiye, chodhenge nahi hum aapko
This way KS reached the kitchen and HM too by following her
KS: kya keh rhi thi aap moti billi
HM: chodhenge nahi hum aapko
HM went towards KS and KS gave her a coffee container (vo Nestle vala aata hai na jar kinda) and a bowl of milk
KS: coffee (said KS with the most innocent look and puppy eyes 👀🥺)
HM took both of them and kept them on the slab. Took out another vessel and started making the coffee also blabbering. KS sat on the slab
HM: aap bhi na, ekdum pagal hai, bacho jaise krti hai... Coffee pine ke liye hume... Hum jaisi haseen vyakti, jiske naam mei hi Haseena ho... Use... Use aisa kaha... Chii...
KS kept giggling
HM: haan, ab hasle... Hume na doubt ho Raha hai, ye Muskan itni samajhdar kaise hai... Matlab, aapko hi dekhiye... Zarur muskan hum pe gyi hai... Baatein sunati thi na aap use humari
KS continued giggling
KS: Amma bhi aur Anu bhaiya bhi, sab use aapki baatein sunate the... Yaha tak ki Santu aur Cheetah bhi.. aapka baat sun sunke toh badi Hui hai
HM: haan, shukar hai... Varna aapke jaise sabko peet ti rehti... Aur Khushi, bapree... Puri original copy lagti hai aapki... Ammi toh aksar kehti hai... Ki dekha, humara sapna sach ho gya...
KS gave her a confused look
HM: areh Unhone ekbaar dekha tha sapne mei ki humari beti hai, jo aapki tarah dikhti hai aur vo hume pareshan kar rhi hai, nak mei dum kar rakha hai... Aur sach bataye na, toh Puri vaisi hi hai ye... Ammi ke sapne mei toh ye ek din hua, humare zindagi mei toh roz ki baat hai... Chaliye ab.. ban gyi coffee
HM poured the coffee in 2 cups and KS poked both her fingers on HM's cheeks, one on one
KS: humari moti billi😁
HM: karuu (whinned)
Aajke liye bas itna hi...
Ab aage kya hoga vo toh aaplog
