Sirius Black's daughter - Athena Black (Book 1)

One

We could hear excited giggles from a red head in a house in Goddric's Hollow.

"Mamma quick!! We will miss the train!!" Athena shrieked.

"If you care so much, how about you come and cook for yourself?" Anna replied.

Athena then kept quiet, but couldn't be more nervous. She was Athena Black, daughter of Sirius and Anna Black. She couldn't stop thinking about which house she will get sorted into and how that house would treat her. Will they see her as Athena or as the daughter of Sirius Black? So many questions ran through her mind.

She was soon back to reality when her Mother called her for breakfast. She ran to the dining room and saw two bacon and toast on her plate. She chucked her breakfast down her throat. Anna chuckled at this sight.

"Are you ready?" Anna asked the young black after she chucked down her orange juice.

"Umm.... Yes..." Athena replied. Clearly she was nervous.

"Look, I know you will have a hard time at hogwarts because of your father, but remember that you are not your father, you are Athena. They talk behind your back because they don't have the courage to talk to you.  I'm sure you will find some one who sees you as Athena." Anna finished her speech with a smile.

A huge grin appeared on Athena's face."Wow... Mamma I didn't know that you could give such a good speech. It did make me feel a bit better. I said A BIT, not much."

Anna smiles at her daughter. She had her father's eyes. They reminded her of a man whom she meet at hogwarts. And that man is now on azkaban after murdering twelve muggles and a wizard who happens to be their friend. It is non other than Sirius Black himself. When Anna met him, he always had a mischievous grin painted on his face. But now it was no where to be found. Anna was snapped back to reality when she heard Athena shriek.

"O merlin! We are going to be late!"

Anna glanced at the clock. She was right, if they didn't leave now, they would miss the train. Anna gathered Athena's trunk and apparated to kings cross station between platforms nine and ten.

This was Athena's first time at Kings cross station. Athena was clearly nervous. Anna held on to Athena's trolley and they charged at the wall. Soon they found themselves at platform nine and three quarters.

"Mamma, what if I am sorted into Slytherin?" Athena asked.

"Nothing, you would be a Slytherin." Anna replied looking at the hogwarts express after eleven years.

"So you wouldn't be mad at me?" Athena asked looking surprised.

"No, I wouldn't be mad at you because your house wouldn't change who you truely are. Besides I have a very close friend who was a Slytherin." Anna replied to the surprised looking Back.

"Who is it?" Athena asked curiously.

"I'll tell you later, now if you don't get in, you will really miss the train." Anna replied with a smirk on her face.

Athena nodded with a smirk that shook Anna every time. 'She look like her dad when she smirk' Anna thought to herself. She then bid her goodbye to the youngest Black once she was inside the hogwarts express.

Little did Anna and Athena know.... The youngest Black was in for a life changing adventure.
