Deborah woke Rachel up and narrated the entire story. Rachel panicked. Soon, the pilot got in the microphone:
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain Mark Mathew on the line. We are afraid, the weather has gotten worse and will be landing in Athens instead. Once the weather clears up, we shall be resuming our journey. We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused. Kindly fasten your seat belts as we will be landing in a few minutes. Thank you."
The Air-hostess repeated this in several languages. The people's displeasure was clearly seen. Rachel told Deborah that everything was fine and they were landing in Athens immediately so there is nothing to worry about. They were safe.

Deborah still had a bad feeling. They soon landed and the Air-hostess informed the same. All of them were removing their seat belts and walking away from their seats. That did not look like Athens at all. However, being new to a country can be confusing. All of them got off the plane. Soon, the pilot started to drive away the plane and before they knew it, the plane was up in the sky. They were all too tired and exhausted to contemplate this action. They moved into the "Airport". Some of them claimed it to be very inactive for a capital state's airport. They did not have any security checks or any other formalities done. They walked in and suddenly, the door closed. It was a small dungeon. Something was disturbingly strange about the place. There were continuous patterns on the wall, a big circle and a square inscribed inside this. Further inscribed was a triangle followed by a parallelogram. The colour patterns were black-white-black-white. The room was dusty and the corners were inhabited by spiders. It was cold, the temperature felt about 5 degrees Celsius. There were rooms inside rooms in the corridor. Nothing at all was right there. Some snow frost could be spotted here and there. Who built this place? And what on earth was that? People were shocked.  A robotic voice was heard from the microphones-
"Welcome to the game. The first step is to make 2 teams, black and white. I hope all of you are aware of what you are putting yourself into. Anyway, form 2 teams and gather upstairs, and stand on your respective squares. This chess game is going to be like none other!"

People looked at each other. Everyone looked worried and creeped out. They were anxious and scared. The little children had started yelping. Some people vomited because of the disturbing nature of the place. Some of them tried dialling 911, but it wouldn't work. Again, the voice was heard-
"You are delaying. The more delay, the more wait. Quickly form 2 teams and gather up. And remember, you are the pieces. Ultimately, only 1 person gets to go home and the game restarts! Choose the pieces wisely."

People were confused and helpless. They had no idea what was going on. Suddenly, 5 gallons of ice water was poured on the people. "For every action, there is either a reward or a punishment. This is just the beginning. And it gets worse each time! Hurry up, people!"
