The next morning, Buck had snuck out of the house early that morning and pulled up outside of his Sister's place, as Maddie then left her house and jumped into the passenger seat of his jeep.

"So, are you ready?" Buck asked, once he pulled of.

"I don't know. I mean, a job interview?" Maddie asked.

"Come on, you're gonna ace this!" Buck said reasuringly, keeping his eyes on the orad after a quick glance to his sister.

"If you say so." Maddie said, when they pulled up outside of a huge building.

"Hey, you head of to work." Maddie said, smiling at Buck.

"You sure?" Buck asked, "Uhm, do-do you need anything?"

"I thought I would be the one to be nervous." Maddie joked, before kissing Buck's forehead, "I'll be fine, Buck. Stop worrying, I love you."

"Yeah, love you to." Buck said, not pulling of until around 10 minutes until Maddie had entered the building, waiting maybe hoping some how his Sister would come back out, but he wasn't sure what was happening.

Buck pulled up outside of the firehouse, around a whole hour late, which made him nervous and made him not really wanting to go inside, to afraid of what would happen, but he learned the hard way that being even later would make it even worse, so he jumped out of his car leaving his bag there and he then raced into the firehouse.

"Cap, I'm so sorry I'm late, I just-I--!" Buck rambled on.

"Kid." Cap said, sternly after trying to get Buck's attention while he was rambling, but Buck quickly shut up and looked down, he had tensed up and Cap could tell something was wrong.

Eddie, Chimney, and Hen all walked up stairs to see Cap opposite Buck who was all tensed and looking down. Bobby raised an eyebrow.

"Buck?" Bobby questioned, putting a hand onto Buck's shoulder causing him to flinch hard and to jump backwards, also knocking into the dining room table, causing him to wince, "Buck, you alright?"

Buck nodded, still looking down but he stood up properly.

"Cap, I really am sorry, I just--!"

"Kid, it's okay." Buck would of been in trouble, but Cap saw how freaked out Buck truely was.

"Hey Buck, why were you late?" Eddie asked, them all walking around as to not bombard Buck since he was still a little freaked and tensed.

"Just, uhm I drove Maddie to a job interview. . ."

"The one you were talking about yesturday? That's only 10 minutes away from this place and 5 minutes away from hers, why were you an hour late?" Chimney asked.

"Just." Buck stopped himself, not sure on what to say. He was late because he hoped his Sister would come outside instead of going on to do a job interview? "I had waited outside the building for a few minutes. . ."

"Buck, that's okay you know. You're worried about your Sister, but she'll be okay!" Hen said.

"I know, It's just--! Nevermind." Buck quickly stopped himself, Eddie about to say something but then the alarm sounded loudly, causing Buck to jump slightly but they all quickly ran to the firetruck regardless.

After a few more hours, Buck was wiping the Truck down, Chim, Hen, and Eddie were all joking about and laughing by the gum equipment, they had tried to include Buck but he tried to stay out of the way. Bobby had just walked out of his office, when they heard footsteps.

"Buck!" Buck turned around, and smiled widely at seeing Maddie, starting to walk over to her after wiping his hands, but he turned confused when Maddie ran upto him and jumped at him, arms around his neck, Buck's arm quickly going to hold her so she didn't fall.
