It's okay to ask for help (9-1-1)

Chapter 25.

Buck yawned, and rolled onto his side. He looked over at the clock, and saw it to be, 12 in the morning. He was slightly suprised that he slept so later, but stood up anyway, and swung his legs over the side of the bed, that little thing with the kids at the fire house, started at 1.

So, Buck pulled on his redish t-shirt, with his black jacket, and then his blue jeans. He walked down stairs.

"Hey! Where have you been?" Came Philips shout, "And, where are you going?"

"Out." Buck mumbled, but couldn't reach the front door when Philip grabbed him by the back of the neck and shoved him into the wall behind him.

"You haven't got work today." Philip growled.

"Maybe I do--!" Buck yelped, when Philip suddenly punched him in the face, Buck shoved Philip away from him.

"Never lie to me again." His Dad growled, and Buck ran outside and jumped into his car, he quickly pulled of, scared in case his Dad followed.

Once Buck pulled into the fire house car park, he pulled down his mirror and looked at his face in it, sighing.

"That's defeinatly gonna bruise." Buck mumbled, the black eye what his Dad gave him, finally comeing out. How was he gonna explain this?

Buck got out of his jeep and kept his head low when he walked into the fire house.

"Hey, Buck!" Hen shouted over to him, and Buck didn't look at them, only held up his hand to them, causing her and Chim to become confused.

"Buck?" Eddie questioned and Buck sighed, "Everything okay?"

"Yeah." Buck mumbled, walking up the stairs he found Cap in the kitchen, doing some bakeing and Athena also being there, laughing. He cursed slightly, and went to turn around.

"Hey Buck, mind helping put all of these on the table?" Bobby asked.

"Sure, Cap." Buck mumbled, grabbing some of the tins off of the island and placed them onto the table behind him, by this time, Eddie, Chim, and Hen had all walked up stairs.

Athena was watching Buck, before she caught sight of something, and she grabbed his wrist instantly when it went to reach for another tin, Buck just tucked his head down tighter.

"Buck. Look at me." Athena said sternly, and Buck flinched slightly, Bobby, Eddie, Hen, and Chim became confused, but Buck only sighed and slowly lifted his head to look at Athena, showing the brusing around his eyes, causing them all to gasp.

"Buck, what--?" Hen got cut of.

"It doesn't matter." Buck cut Hen of, looking back at Athena's hand what was still clung onto Buck's wrist.

"Who did it?" Athena asked, dangersouly low.

"No one." Buck said, managing to get his hand away from Athena.

"Hello?"

"Fuck. Forgot about Maddie." Buck mumbled, already walking down the stairs, he saw Maddie walking in, with another guy with brunette hair, him wearing a black button up, "Hey Mads."

"Buck!" Maddie shouted, already pulling her brother in for a hug, and pulled away but raised an eyebrow at him, when Buck looked down, "Buck?"

Buck slowly looked up, and Maddie's eyes widened but turned to anger.

"Did-Did they do this?" Maddie growled, and Buck only shrugged.

"It doesn't matter, Mads, I'm fine." Buck mumbled, and turned to look at the other guy.

"Oh, uhm, I'm Josh." Josh held his hand out, and Buck shook it, "Also, might wanna get some ice on that. Looks painful."

"Noted. Come on, everybodys up stairs." Buck said, leading the way, Maddie and Josh behind, following.
