ba ram sensed she would be having a very hard time at school today. she got her period alongside a very bad cramps. she had to roll down her bed and almost crawl to the toilet that morning.

she took a painkiller hoping that it would calm her pain a little bit but it wasn't long until she felt the pain again. she tried to keep her cool but it wasn't unnoticed by ji ung who had been eyeing her since she walked in the class.

"you good?" ji ung abruptly asked when he saw ba ram was gripping on the edge of the desk tightly, her hand turned white.

"period cramps." ji ung stayed still. he knew and heard a lot about period cramps but this is his first time experiencing the real thing.

"what should i do? do you need me to buy you something or-"

"no, it's okay. i will be fine soon."

"you don't look like you will be fine anytime soon, ba ram. you are sweating." ji ung held ba ram's hand that was still gripping on the desk's edge, scared that she will hurt herself so he's letting ba ram to clutch on his hand instead. "i think you should go to infirmary and rest. i can ask gu nil to take notes for you just like the last time."

ba ram was not hesitant to nod her head. she really needed to just lay down and curled her body like a shrimp. ji ung helped her to stand properly, holding on to her shoulders while his other hand was still in hers.

the walk to the infirmary was filled with stares. it was still shocking and unfamiliar that the two person was 'dating'. but, ji ung did not care with the attention they were getting and just focusing to get to the infirmary asap.

when they walked in, they were met with silence of the empty big room and the nurse was nowhere to be seen. ji ung assisted ba ram to one of the beds and close the blinds to let her have her privacy. he then wrote down ba ram's name on the book for her to get an excuse letter for her class later.

after he was done, he went to ba ram just to see her already curling on the bed. he covered ba ram with the blanket when he saw ba ram was shivering due to the cold room.

"i heard somewhere that chocolates help. i will bring chocolates during recess, okay?" ji ung patted ba ram's head. clearing his throat, he moved his hand away and closed the blinds around ba ram's bed again. "rest well. i will come back during recess."
