ba ram would be lying if she said her heart didn't stop for a minute because it did. suddenly, everything around her seemed to stop and she could only hear her own breathing. did she heard it right?

ji ung likes her... ji ung likes her?!

"ji ung-"

"you don't need to answer me. i just want to let you know what i really feel about you." ji ung assured her as he gave a light pat on her shoulders. "in case you feel uncomfortable, should i go now?" ji ung stood up and looked down at her still sitting, eyes wide and face flushed.

"l-let me walk you out." ba ram stood up as well before walking to the front door first, opening it for ji ung who's smiling sheepishly at her, finding the whole situation cute no- ba ram was cute to him.

ji ung walked outside the house to the gate with ba ram following slowly behind. he turned around to see ba ram was not looking at him at all but at the ground instead. ji ung sighed.

"is the ground more interesting than me now?" ba ram flustered and looked up to be met with his eyes.

"n-no, sorry."

"ba ram. it's weird to see you this way. I'm sorry if i made you feel uncomfortable. i will go now, okay? good night, ba ram."

"no! I'm not uncomfortable. see you tomorrow, ji ung." ji ung chuckled and ba ram looked at him weirdly.

"tomorrow is saturday. are you perhaps asking me out on a date?" ba ram widened her eyes. "joking. unless you want to?"

the two shared a long one minute eye contact with each other before ba ram slowly nodded her head. it was ji ung's turn to blush furiously and got him speechless. ba ram laughed as she hit ji ung's shoulder.

"i thought you were good at flirting, ji ung. why are you red now?"

"it's just hot, you should go inside before it gets hotter here."

"you didn't answer me though, ji ung."

"sure, I'll pick you up tomorrow morning. is 10 alright?"

"yes!" ba ram answered a bit too enthusiastically when she cleared her throat. "yes, it's alright to me."

"okay. see you tomorrow." ji ung smiled brightly and waved to her before going on his way.

the two of them slept with a smile on their faces that night. ji ung probably only able to have a 3 hours sleep because he was too giddy.
