Chapter 7's [SPECIAL EPILOGUE]

"shit!"

he was surprised ba ram was not at her seat when he arrived. he was late himself so where and why ba ram was not there? he panicked, even her things were not there. he walked towards the class rep, his breath was hard and heavy.

"gu nil, where is ba ram?" his hands were on top of the class rep's desk as he tried to calm his heavy breath. gu nil was shocked that ji ung talked to him but he was calm anyway.

"knowing her, she has never been late to school, so she's probably absent."

"of course i know she's absent, gu nil."

gu nil understood what ji ung was referring about so he sighed and shook his head.

"no, the bullies just arrived." gu nil tilted his head to the side, signalling to the bullies. "if you're that worried, you should call her." gu nil searched under his table for a logbook and flipped to the page he desired and pushed the book to ji ung. "if i were her, i would be sad that my boyfriend doesn't even save my number."

ji ung was flustered. he actually forgot the whole 'boyfriend' thing. he recovered quickly and ignored gu nil who's secretly judging him as he typed in ba ram's number in his phone. he gave a short thanks to gu nil and went to his seat.

ji ung pondered whether to call her or messaged her. he thought it might be weird to do that. as he was overthinking, the first period started and even he, himself was shocked that he was focused in class.

the 2 hours class ended and he found himself walking towards his teacher who's getting ready to go out of the class but paused as he saw ji ung's coming.

"ssaem, can you explain this part again, please? i was lost." ji ung shyly asked as he scratched the top of his head.

the teacher was shocked to even hear ji ung's voice and now, asking to help on his subject? it was definitely new experience. but he ignored that and attend to ji ung's questions, answering and explaining everything carefully so that ji ung can understand better.

it was 15 minutes after that ji ung finally understood everything and finished writing all the important thing the teacher said.

"thank you, ssaem!" ji ung bowed politely at his teacher before he went to his seat to continue highlighting on keywords and jargons.

he even skipped lunch today and study the notes he did by himself. he even added what he understood on the sticky notes and was proud of himself.

"can ba ram understand this though?" he examined his notes for the last time. "she's a genius, she will."

he chuckled to himself and placed his notebook carefully inside his bag. he yawned and decided to have a small nap before the next period starts in another 30 minutes.
