Chapter One - Time For Work! ( short )

Juni's POV :

Ugh, 9:30! Im late for work! As soon as I woke up I could smell the sweet aroma coming from downstairs, and it made me jump straight out of bed. My girlfriend, Eve, wakes up at 5 everyday to make sure we have time to eat breakfast when we wake up. I knew she would be a bit upset that I couldn't eat the breakfast she cooked for us, but I had no time at all.

I rushed into the bathroom, took a shower, and quickly put on my work clothes. I'm a pediatric nurse so, my 'work clothes' were scrubs and black clogs. As I finished my morning routine I grabbed my bag and rushed out of the bedroom door, putting my small gold hoop earrings on as I walked out. I rushed down the stairs, to see my beautiful girlfriend in the kitchen, her face powdered with flour.

"Good morning beautiful! How'd you sleep? I made breakfast!" Eve said as she smiled, holding a plate of food out to me. Two pieces of bacon, scrambled eggs, and two waffles covered in syrup. I'm glad she can cook because, I definitely can't cook at all! I could literally burn water.

"Baby, I'm so sorry I don't have time for breakfast today. I'm really late. I'm so sorry, my love." I walked toward her, hugging her at the waist and laying my head on hers. I left two soft kisses on her forehead, and walked towards the door grabbing my keys as she spoke.

"Oh that's okay! I hope you have a great day, love. Be safe, I love you!" She smiled and waved at me, as I walked out of the door waving back at her.

I got into my car, starting it and placing my bag in the passengers seat. I put my seatbelt on, pulling out of the garage heading to work.

"Yay! Time for work." I said to myself, sarcastically.
