Chapter 4 - The Dinner ( Part 1 )

After texting Makayla, I put my phone on the charger, laying it on the nightstand. I laid back down, sliding Eve closer to my body and wrapping my arms around her.

I can't wait to meet the pretty girl tomorrow.

Juni's POV -

It was Friday afternoon, and Eve didn't have work so we planned to sleep in until it was time to get ready for dinner with Makayla.

I was laying next to Eve, scrolling through Tiktok on my phone when I got a text from Makayla.

Makayla : Good morning! I can't wait to meet you guys today.. floppy's excited too!

Juni : Oh? Well I'm excited as well. So is Eve!

Makayla : Could you send me the address to the place we're eating? Just so I know when to leave my house!

Juni : Okay.. but if you wanted we could pick you up

Makayla : Oh no no, I wouldn't want to cause any trouble

Juni : No hun, it's no trouble at all. I promise!

Makayla : Hm, okay! 😊 I'll send my address later!

Juni : All right pretty girl. We'll see you later!

Makayla : Kk,, I can't wait!

After texting Makayla for a while, I placed my phone down and rested both of my hands on my chest. I was so boreddd!!

Something told me I should cook us a small meal so that we weren't starving before our dinner, so I did. It was around 4 in the afternoon, and our dinner was at 8pm. That meant I had time to cook, clothes shop, and spend time with my love.

I slowly slid off the bed, trying my best to be quiet and careful so I didn't wake up sleeping beauty. I slipped on my bath robe and slippers, and headed downstairs. One thing I love about our house is the kitchen. It's so modern and classy and just.. beautiful. It's honestly my safe space.

- About 30 Minutes Later -

I was standing in the kitchen, flour powdering my hands and face. I had cooked pancakes, eggs, sausage and bacon, with a tall glass of orange juice. Her favorite thing to eat is breakfast food, which is why we work so well together because we both love breakfast food. I fixed a plate for Eve, and started to head upstairs.

Once I reached our bedroom door, I could hear Eve singing to music in the room. She's so perfect. I opened the door with my free hand, and as she spotted the food her eyes lit up.

"Eee! Did you cook for us?" Eve said as she jumped off of the bed, running to me and grabbing the plate out of my hands.

"Yes baby, I did. I hope you like it." I smiled as I sat on the bed, laying back onto the pillow.

"Are you excited for today?" Eve said before placing a piece of the pancakes into her mouth. She's adorable.

"Yes, I'm very excited.. also she texted me last night." I said as I handed her the phone, showing her the messages between me and Makayla.

"Aww, she's gonna bring her stuffy!" Eve said as she handed the phone back to me, placing a piece of sausage in her mouth.

"Yep. I can't wait to meet her, she seems so nice." I said as I turned facing Eve. I laid down on my side, attempting to get a bit of rest before we had to leave.

"Hey, we should go to the mall. I say we bring her flowers and a stuffy or something. I think that'd be cute!" Eve said as she got out of the bed.

"That would be really cute, let's go baby." I said, slowly getting out of the bed.

Juni's POV -

We both returned home, and it was 6pm. Almost time to meet with Makayla. We went to the store and bought a bouquet of pink roses, and a cute, white, teddy bear to go alone with it. Hopefully she loves it.

"Alright babe we need to be heading out soon, let's get dressed." Juni said as she started putting her clothes on.

I got up from where I was setting up Makayla's gift, and headed to the closet to get dressed.

I can't wait to meet her.
