Moving to New York had its perks, for starters Andrews apartment was AMAZING !! There was a great view and though I do love stars I also quite enjoyed the view of the bustling city below. There were also great photography opportunities and people really didn't care if they were in some of my shots, they loved it really. It didn't feel like we were poor, main reason being because we weren't anymore we  made it to middle class with out Andrews amazing fortune though we still used it to pay bills at his insistance. Sophia and I weren't alone anymore, we have Andrew, Andrew loves us -though not in the same way because.. EWW!!- and to top it off nicely Andrew was rich. Sophia was determined to sign a prenuptial agreement but Andrew refused saying that if she were to tear is heart in two and leave they'd split everything equally. He wasn't very good with words but it was obvious Andrew's love for Sophia grew everyday. Like how my love for New York grew every hour when I discovered something beautiful like how the rain drops frozen of the tree branches outside look like Christmas lights in the sunrise or how the head and back lights of cars blurred on the road when it rained or how my neighbor (who lived on the corner of the building next to me) had a beautiful bird collection that sang sweetly in the early summer and spring mornings. I was disappointed when they moved, but New York wasn't for everyone.

We had been living in Andrews apartment for a while and Sophia was dying to get a place of our own, a proper house where her and Andrew can start a proper family, I made an agreement with then that when I turn 18 (1 year away) I'll live in Andrews apartment so they can have their family space. They would also be able to rely on me for any baby sitting in future and it turned out to be pretty agreeable since Andrew owned the apartment rent and mortgage free.

That didn't stop Sophia from house hunting and she finally found the 'perfect place'

"Come on Kida why are you staling?"

I wasn't staling, like my wize aunt acussed for the fifth time this morning.

"Sorry Ma." I mumbled stuffing my thick sock covered feet into my red converse.

Ma was just something I called Sophia, I wanted someone to call Mum and she suggested I call her Ma not really Mum but held a similar meaning behind the simple word. (I called Andrew, Drew, and my grandparents Pops and Nan. I was officially adopted on my 11th birthday thanks to some amazing lawyers and my aunts determination)

Ma rolled her eyes for the hundredth time in the past minute.

"The moving truck has already left and I want to make sure the furniture is in the right place before my house is full of boxes now will you get out of this tiny apartment." Ma wasn't mad but she was getting flustered, something that leads to panic then anger in her book. I speed roll/dive for my phone and charger that waited on me bare and empty nightstand and dash for the door scanning the bear empty rooms as I went that I hadn't left anything behind. Ma smiles as she sees me hop out the door which she closes with a dramic sigh and locks the glossy white door behind me. I basically skip to the elevator, I'm excited to be moving, finally having a real home (I know home is where the heart is but it would be nice to share a building with only two, soon to be three other people) Ma wadpes slightly at a steady pace for a pregnant woman and it is obvious she is pregnant, come on she had a fit but still skinny body with a big baby bumb. I hold the golden doors open for her, she hustles in with a sigh.

"Thank you. I don't mean to get flustered so easily I blame the hormones, eight months already and I just want it out!" She pout's slightly referring to her baby. Those idiots wanted to keep it a surprise *eye roll* the baby room at the new house will be painted some unisex colour I bet. Yellow five bucks is on yellow, Drew has ten on green. Idiot. "I know Ma, moving is stressful, having to look after a moody teenager isn't helping." Ma rolls her eyes.
