After traversing the snow covered lands till the sun began to set amongst the horizon. Turning on your suits flood lights, you marched quietly into the night before running into a dead tree. A distant flow of sadness washed over you as you eyed the dead branches and their lost potential of life. But you quickly reminded yourself where you were.

Here in these snowy lands...those without, cannot...

Tank: camp?

You smiled grimmly to yourself before unsheathing a heated blade under your fore arm.

Cutting of the branches of the dead tree, you made a sizable pile of died sticks before having one of your shoulder cannons extend and fold outward.

Rasing a hand to your shoulder mounted cannon, you turned the energy output to it's lowest setting before watching a thin beam shoot out. Within a few seconds, the beam caused the wood to go from cold, to heated, to steaming, then finally sparking.

A warm fire then quickly rose from the pile of sticks as you sat down to feed it more wood.

While sitting down however, you ejected yourself out of your armor before getting close to the fire once more. You wanted to get out of your armor for a bit...and the cold nipping at your skin and ears was...comforting in a way...

Tank: how are you feeling?

Tank came through your shadow before posting himself next to you and your suit.

Y/N: hm?- ah...I don't really know...I keep seeing this place in my dreams, but...to really be here?

You clenched your right hand to grab a small hand full of snow.

Y/N: to know that all of this is real?- it's...weird...like something was always calling me back here...

Tank hummed in response before taking off his gauntlets, and placing his hands near the fire.

You smiled before tossing another stick into the fire. Your eyes glossing over the dancing flames as your eyes almost began to hallucinate your fragmented memories within the flame.

Tank: how about you head then?- been noticing you drifting off lately...

You shook out of your trance before looking back at Tank. His red eyes almost glowing as he stared at you concernedly

Tank: point made...

You sighed.

Y/N: their uh... Their still kinda mixed together...

You clasped your hands while tilting your head to the sky.

Y/N: I still get the memory flashes from time to time, but...now that they don't hurt as much now?- I can see and try to piece it all together.

You looked over to the snow covered hills that could still be seen under the night sky.

Y/N: but it's kinda like a puzzle. Some pieces fit, others don't, and some of them...are just gone...

Tank raised his head with a bit more concern as you continued to speak.

Y/N: like in the Vale, at the docks. I remember fighting to protect...w-wait...what was...was...who was there with me?

You looked down before grunting in a fit of anger...it was happening again. You tried to piece together the memory, but...

Y/N: after that, I...well...I remember meeting you inside glare, then...some...lady with grey?- no white! White hair, and...before that I-...I...

Starting to get a bit frustrated, you stopped and sighed once more. Tank only looked at you with a sad smile.

Tank: it's alright bud, we'll figure it out...
