Delilah sleeps and her dream about her childhood comes around. Back when she was 9 years old.

A young Delilah and her father sun were climbing a tree in the middle of winter. The little girls was struggling to climb the tree.

Young Delilah: Dad! I'm scared...i need help.
Sun: you're 9 years old Delilah, don't be such a baby.
Delilah: please....
Cubchoo tried to lift her up, but she was too heavy for his little paws. Soon after a chopper comes into view.
Sun: Delilah....wait!
Delilah slips and falls on her side and lands on some soft snow. Sun and cubchoo come down from the tree and sun was about to check om Delilah, but she pulled away.
Delilah: go back to the army. Like you did when grandpa died.
A man and gladion approached sun.
Lt colonel north: Lt colonel north. Pokemon army center. You already know Gladion.
Sun: what are you doing here?
Lt colonel north: yesterday, Sgt dusk led a covert team to take out a pokemon smuggling ring in galar. This morning we lost contact with him.
Sun: so go get him, A.M.C why are you here?
Lycanroc snarls at them a bit.
Gladion: some of the palsma team members are there. They're all over the place. We can't go in. The A.M.C have buried the mission. Dusk and his squad. No longer exist.
Lt: colonel north: we've got whatever you need, chosen one. Name it.
Gladion: your family is under witness protection theyre quite safe. They can stay with zinnia for a while in hoenn. She loves having you....they'll be fine.
Delilah looks up at her father with pleading eyes.
Delilah: Dad, you said you'd never go back to the army. You promised me and mom.
Sun looks down at his 9 year old child.
Sun: it's uncle dusk, Delilah. He'd do the same for me.

Delilah wakes up when connor was calling her.
Connor: Delilah, come down here quick!
Delilah heard something was wrong with Connor. Or worse someone she knows.
Delilah rushes down the stairs and checks on Connor. He holds out the phone to her. Delilah takes the phone.
Delilah: hello?
Lillie: Delilah!
Delilah: mom? What's going on?
Lillie: your father! He's...He's hurt really bad. He got into a pokemon battle last night. He's hurt!
