"Hopkins!"
Someone's banging on my door. Very rudely, I might add.
I scoff quietly, squinting my eyes open to look around my room. The lights are off, but it's not dark. Sunlight seeps through the blinds. It's morning.
"Hey, Hopkins!" It's Beckett. "Come on, we gotta meet up with the vic's sister!"
My eyes drift to the digital clock beside the bed, noticing the time. It's already nine.
Fuck.
"Hopkins!"
"What the f.." A grumble sounds behind me. I scoff and look over my shoulder immediately.
Of course. Of fucking course he climbed into bed with me.
I'm on my side, facing the door. Finn's facing the same way, with his arm wrapped lazily around my ribs. He's fucking cuddling me.
"Hopkins!" Beckett drawls, still pounding on my door.
"Ten minutes!" I call out to him.
"You better hurry." He warns, his voice already trailing off as he begins walking away. His only goal was to hear proof of life in here.
"Get the fuck off me." I scowl, turning my attention back to Finn behind me.
Finn groans, half asleep as he rolls off me.
"Wait—"
I grimace at the harsh thud that cuts me off.
He groans some more.
"Yeah, sounded like it hurt." I agree, scooting over to the edge of the bed to find him laying on his back on the ground. "Get up." I order. "I need to go soon." I sigh and roll off the bed, stepping over him as I head towards my suitcase.
Finn sighs and sits up, looking at me over the edge of the bed. "What's going on?" He questions.
"I," I toss a pair of jeans on the mattress. "need to go meet up with Mandy Hitches with Beckett." I add a shirt to my jeans and start searching for more clothes. "Get up and get out. I need to go." I point my thumb towards the door.
Finn groans, but he gets up off the floor and grabs his shoes. "You know, this is not how my mornings with women I share a room with usually go." He murmurs as he walks past me.
I throw the first thing I can find right at his face with a scoff.
Finn's eyebrows raise at the piece of fabric I just threw at him. "This is a start though." He smiles.
I gasp and snatch my panties from him. "Excuse you, fucking pervert." I scrunch my nose at him and hide them.
"You're the one who threw them at my face." Finn smiles and shrugs me off, moving closer to the door.
I scowl at him while he slips out the door, softly shutting it behind him. I don't really get to think over the fact that I just threw my panties at a murder suspect's face before I have to start getting dressed quick.
That is the last time I offer to provide an alibi for a goddamn suspect.
After I finish getting dressed, I quickly hurry towards the bathroom to brush my teeth while combing through my hair with my fingers. It's the best I can do right now.
I leave my room at the same time Finn does. He grins at me while I scowl and hurry down the hall. That makes him laugh for some reason.
"You ass." I grumble, glancing at him when he walks alongside me. "I didn't say you could get in bed with me." I point out.
