The next morning y/n woke up earlier than usual. She looked underneath her pillow to find her second notepad and she opened it, reading the stuff she had written. "Hm, good morning." She said to herself. After a shower and brushing her teeth y/n got dressed and left the house, only to bump into Isabella.

"Mom?" "Oh, good morning y/n." Y/n shrugs and started walking again, "morning." Only a few steps away and Isabella called out to her adopted child. "Y/n! Did you have a good night's sleep?" She asked. Y/n simply turned around and stared into Isabella's deep purple eyes.

"I tried." She responds. "So...do you know if anyone went to the gate last night?" Asked Isabella. Y/n turned around facing Isabella, full body now. "Oh, someone was at the gate?" She asked Isabella. "It's nothing. My dear." Said Isabella, giving her a sickly sweet smile.

Y/n gave her back the same smile and placed a hand on her hip, "now if you'll excuse me, I have to go relax under my spot." Said Y/n, walking off with a scowl on her face.

Breakfast was different, because Norman and Emma were a bit late. Y/n noticed her weird acting skills but decided Isabella would probably think maybe Emma was sick. She sat down after helping set the table and glanced at Ray, who gave her a look. After breakfast, they all went outside and Ray took her in a corner, talking to her harshly, "You better not slip up." He warned her.

"I know what I'm doing!" She responded. They both notice that Norman and Emma aren't there and head off to the forest, seeing them discuss a couple of things and watching as Emma placed a white bag in the hole of the tree. Norman and Emma both kept talking, mentioning Ray's name. Ray walked out and placed his arms around Norman and Emma.

Y/n waited minutes before immerging from the trees herself. "Come on! You three saw something! Tell me what you saw at that gate, you've been weird ever since." Said Ray. Norman laughed nervously, and Emma smiled. "You sure do catch on fast."

Norman explained what they saw and the whole thing about the farm. Soon Emma left to do something, and y/n nearly left as well when she heard Ray scold Norman. "You're crazy! You can't take them all! It has to be the four of us to escape!" "Nope. You're wrong." Said Norman. "Ugh, don't you get it? It's like trying to make a boat out of mud in hopes it would sail!!"

Norman chuckled, "Then I'll do just that!" Ray grabbed him by the shirt and yelled at his face some more, "you're letting emotions and feelings cloud your judgment!" Norman shakes his head, "I'd do anything to see just that small smile on y/n's face again even for a while after she publishes her book. And I also care so much about Emma. I don't want either of them to stray away." His heart soared the more he thought of both of their faces.

Y/n's small smile, barely noticeable but special; and Emma's energetic persona. Her radiant smile brightened up anyone's day.

"You're so crazy.."

Y/n approaches the hill, only to be tackled from behind by Norman. She turned around, shocked, and tried pushing him off. "O-oi! Get off!" She yells. Norman blushed and moved quickly, "Sorry! I tripped." Ray smirked and walked by without another word.

She was helped up by the ice blue-eyed male and he gave her an apologetic smile. "Next time, I'll try to be more careful." Emma peeked from behind y/n placing her head on the other female's shoulder. "You two are so cute~" she said. "H-huh?" Asked Norman. "You would make a really cute couple." Emma whispers before running off.

"Dammit Emma!" Norman smiled and winked towards y/n. "Yah know Emma has a point there." She simply blushed and turned away. "Whatever."

That night, there was a new visitor. A new mom, or so they thought, and a brand new sibling. "Hello! I'm Sister Krone! I'll be helping your mama around here for a while!" Ray, Emma, Norman, and y/n shared one look on their face. Confusion, shock, and fright.
