---------------------------------------------------------

I sat there staring at the letter after reading it. Norman, who stood beside me was just as confused as I was. "Hold on.." I started. "This letter was written in the year 2049." Norman's eyes slanted. "What kind of trick is this? It doesn't make any sense!" He started getting annoyed. Norman doesn't ever lose his cool.

"I'm sorry for yelling." He apologizes. I sigh and hug him tightly. "It's okay love, let's just figure this out." We sit together, coming up with multiple theories until Ray drops our kids off. I open the door getting hugged by d/n and s/n.

"We missed you mommy!" Yelled d/n, groping me tightly. I hug her, kissing her white hair. "I didn't." S/n mutters though I could see the slight blush on his cheeks. He must think he's slick.

Ray looks at me and Norman. I could tell he was bugging me to ask us how our trip back home felt. "Kids, go wash up. Dinner will be ready soon." I told them. D/n ran off dragging s/n behind.

Now it was just me and the dudes.

"How was the trip? Did you find anything? Any more demons? Humans?" Asked Ray. "No. We didn't see any demons even if they were, and the adults aren't there either." Says Norman. "I found my guitar?" Ray groans and holds his forehead. "Your guitar?" "Hey! It's the only thing we have left of mom okay!"

Ray's lips became a straight line and he thought back on mom. Silence filled the room. I debated on whether or not I should fill Ray in on our discovery. About to open my mouth, Norman gives me a look. What was up with him?

"We.. actually found something else." I start. "We found a let-" "what y/n was TRYING to say was," Norman interrupts me, placing a hand on my shoulder and smiling brightly at Ray, "we found out that we're having another baby!" It was a lie, a big fat lie.

Ray grimaced and backed up, "I think I hear Anna calling me, I'm leaving now. Goodbye." He left quickly and I glare at Norman. "What was that honey?" "Oh, I dunno. Me hinting that we shouldn't go bringing other people into this new mess?" Norman responds, calmly heading into our kitchen island so we could start dinner.

I frown, placing my elbows on the counter and plopping my chin in the palm of my hand. "But why not? Three brains work better than two." I told him. Norman sighs as he started chopping onions. "My love, only two people were mentioned in that letter. You and me." I enter the kitchen and wrap my arms around his waist from behind, placing my head on his back.

"I'm sorry if I'm stressing you out," I mutter, drawing circles on his back. Norman visibly calms down and slowed down on chopping up tomatoes next. "It's alright, you're fine." He turned to me, kissing my lips gently. I kiss him back, relieved that he wasn't tense any longer.

"Mom, dad, is dinner ready yet-" "don't go in there!" S/n covers d/n's eyes and sighs, staring at his mother and father. "I wanna see! What's going on?!" Yells d/n. "It's nothing for your eyes to see d/n." Said s/n. I smiled at him and opened my arms, "do you want a kiss too baby?!" S/n removes his hand from his sister's eyes and backed away.

He was annoyed with me. "Ew! No! Brush your teeth after you just kissed him and I might consider it!" "Oi, don't go around disrespecting your father now!" I warned s/n.

"I apologize mother." We sat down for dinner and enjoyed the spaghetti Norman made. After dinner, I wash up, while he takes the twin to bed. Norman first tucked d/n in and kisses her forehead.

"Daddy! I'm sorry!" She yells out. I stood in the doorframe watching the interaction between my husband and daughter. "Sorry for what d/n?" Asked Norman with a chuckle, tucking s/n in as well. "I drew on your work desk because s/n told me to."

Norman stares at the white-haired boy who only glared at his sister. "Nope nope nope! Dad listen, d/n asked me if her drawing looked good. I told her it would probably look good if she drew it on some place more noticeable like your stupid desk because her drawing was ugly enough. Then I said it was ugly either way! I did not expect her to-"

Norman places a firm kiss on his forehead and stood straight walking out, "it doesn't matter. I'll just clean it tomorrow!" I smiled and walked in next, hugging s/n and d/n. "Good night children."

S/n lets a "night mommy." Slip by his sharp tongue while d/n begged me to stay a little longer. Eventually, they both fall asleep, and Norman lifts me bridal style taking us to our room.

He lays down on the bed and I lay beside him, kissing his cheek and nose. "Norman... do you think that...maybe there was some kind of time-lapse in which that letter might have come forth?...Or maybe even..." Norman looks into my dark purple eyes with his ice-blue ones. I felt a chill run down my spine until he lifted my lips and kissed me gently. "Perhaps.." then we closed our eyes, not knowing that someone was watching us...and something happened.

Sending us years back without a memory.

We were reborn.
