Everyone were getting ready for the mehendi function while Prachi was still doing last minute preparations. When Pragya gave down ready she saw Prachi there and was surprised,
Pragya : Prachi Tum Abhi Tak tayaar nahi hui?
Prachi : Mai bus jaa rahe hu
Pragya : go now and get ready now guests are going to start coming anytime now.
Prachi : yes maa I am going.
Prachi was in her room getting ready when there was a knock on her door and she went to open as she opened the door she was surprised to see Vikram standing there.
Vikram : Prachi beta I want to talk to you are you free now for 5 minutes?
Prachi : yes uncle come in what happened.
They entered the room and Prachi closed the door to talk privately.
Vikram : Prachi beta I know you don't want us to know that you love Ranbir and he loves you but I heard your conversation with Sunny last night, I am sorry I was there I did not want to hear but Dida and I heard it we will not tell anyone until both of you are ready. And Prachi puttar I know it will work out between both of you and I am glad that he chose you as my daughter in law. Even if it does not work out you will always be my daughter before Ranbir being my son.
Prachi did not know what to say she was very emotional and hugged Vikram.
Prachi : uncle thank you so much, you don't know how much what all you told me means to me thank you.
Vikram smiled and left the room, Prachi was super happy and was almost ready to go down for the function.

Ranbir opened his room door to go down for the function when he saw a hi standing in front of him outside his room.
Abhi : champ I wanted to talk to you for 2 minutes are you free now can we talk privately ?
Ranbir : yes chief all good we will talk in my room come.
They both went into his room and shut the door behind.
Abhi : I'll come straight to the point, what are your intension with my daughter?
Ranbir was shocked and confused at the same time and looked a Abhi in confusion. Abhi saw the confused look on his face,
Abhi : I know you and my daughter Prachi love each other and you are in a relationship or have not given it a name or your the baklu to her chikchikki whatever I don't know and honestly don't care I only want to know your intention towards her.
Ranbir shocked : what...how do you know?
Abhi : I heard Prachi's conversation with Sunny last night.
He told the entire conversation they had and Ranbir stood there digesting the fact.
Abhi : don't worry Dida and I will not tell anyone till you guys yourself are ready and if it works out which I am thousand percent sure will work out I am really happy to have you as my son in law and if it does not work out the charges are very very less you will always be my son before her being my daughter.
Ranbir was happy and emotional hearing this and hugged Abhi.
He broke the hug and looked at Abhi.
Ranbir : chief my intention with your daughter is completely pure I really love her and will always keep her happy and give her all the happiness and joy in the world.
Abhi : I know you will I am happy both my children are happy.
They both happily left the room and went to the garden where the mehendi ceremony is taking place.
Ranbir turns towards the door and sees Prachi walking out of the house coming in his direction and was completely mesmerised by her beauty and was not able to take his eyes off her. Abhi noticed this a laughed.
Abhi : champ I know I gave my blessing but still she is my daughter.
Ranbir did not hear and continued to stare at her when he felt a nudge on his arm.
Ranbir : kya hai mai meri Prachi ko Dekh raha hu kya problem hai?!
Saying this he turned to see Abhi who was looking at him teasingly.
Abhi : yes I know but function is about to start so let's go.
The function has started and Kiara's mehendi was been put by the mehendi arts when Prachi went to Ranbir
Ranbir : hi finally got time to meet me
Prachi : hi I have something important to tell you and shut up
Ranbir : achaa okay let's go inside and talk no one would hear us there.
