JJ's POV

I went into my room once I started getting bored of the movie, as I was waiting for Mabel to finish her shower I heard the other pogues say they were going to a kegger on the boneyard. I decided to stay to tell Mabel and just as I heard the bathroom door open I knew she was almost ready. I went out of my room after a bit "The others are going to a kegger, they just left so when you're ready we can go" I said smiling. Then I realised that she was wearing my shirt "wait did you grab my shirt?" I asked her laughing a bit when she responded "Oh! I'm so sorry I thought it was popes I'm sorry-" "it's all good Mabel, looks better on you anyways" I said smiling. She giggled and it made me blush, hoping she didn't see I left her to get ready. She came in my room "hey wanna go now?" She asked me with a smile showing her dimples while her eyes lit up the room. "Hello? Earth to JJ?" She said while laughing "oh yeah sorry um yeah let's go" I said slightly blushing. The others took the Twinkie so we had to walk, I was a bit sad because I knew a random kook or touron would try to hook up with me based on my reputation but it felt wrong. I knew I liked Mabel but it was too early on so I had to wait. I really really hope Pope didn't tell her about my random hook ups.

Mabel's POV

I kept thinking about earlier when JJ stared at me with a slight blush but then I remembered pope tell me about how he would always have hook ups. I tried to focus on the Kegger when I realised JJ seemed sad "JJ are you okay?"" Yeah I'm fine thanks." He said in a dull tone and fake smile. The rest of the walk was filled with silence, but not awkward silence, comforting silence. When we finally arrived at the kegger I saw pope and kie so I went to sit with them. "And they have towel warmers!?!? I guess no one cares about the turtles." Said kie a bit frustrated "and have you heard of micro plastics ugh the WORST!" I said agreeing with kie as it turns out we both cared for Earth. "Oh hey mabel" Pope said with a smile handing me a warm beer. After talking with them for awhile they started flirting and I felt very single 😢. I walked over to JJ just to see him drowned by rich hot kooks, his key targets. But he was pulling away from them? "Oh my that was just- ugh- thank you for saving me really!" He said in a relaxed tone while he chugged a beer. "Yeah of course but don't you want them to be all over you? You know to like hook up and stuff?" I asked a bit sad but mainly confused. "Fuck." He said whispering under his breath and I was even more confused about why he is like this right now. "Um yea but I mean that was before, I don't do that anymore now" he said trying to explain, I didn't have any reason to not believe him. "Oh ok, well I'm gonna go talk to John b, cya later" I said with a smile still asking myself why he stopped hooking up, Pope said he liked them or something? "Hey mabel! Want a drink?" Said John b with a small smile. "Yea sure thanks! Um just a question are all the kooks invited?" I asked a bit scared that rafe would show up. "Yeah why?" He answered "No reason!" I said chugging my beer. If I'm drunk I can't stress right? "Can I have another beer please?" I said turning around to where John b was, just to see...."rafe." "Hi Mabel, I heard you're back so I just had to see my girlfriend!" He said with a smug look. "No rafe. We broke up. I like someone else. Please just leave me alone." I said not being scared instead terrified. "Oh cmon let me show you a little place on the beach." He said with a devilish grin. "No." I said loud and clear. "Mabel. We're going." He said serious now. "No." I said again this time firmer "I guess you left me no choice now did you?" He said towering over me. He grabbed my wrist so tight I could feel the bruises forming, when I tried to pull away he slapped me and kicked me so he could drag me. I was creaming and crying. "HEY LET HER GO! RAFE. LET. HER. GO." a familiar voice said as I turned around I saw JJ breathing heavily and running towards me. He punched rafe and started kicking him to the floor right when rafe was almost knocked, JJ grabbed his shirt collar "don't EVER fucking touch her again, you understand? NEVER OR I'LL-" "JJ STOP MABEL IS UNCONCIOUS." pope said mad at rafe and slightly at JJ for letting me fall on a rock on the back of my head as everything went black.

I don't know what to think of this chapter honestly it's pretty bad then again my second time writing a chapter so sorry if it sucks but I hope y'all enjoyed I'll post the nest part today or tomorrow <3
