Boat day || Waves

JJ's POV

Pope was turning on the boat about to head out until we saw topper approach us, specifically Mabel. "Hey Mabel, Rafe wanted you to have this, I didn't know y'all were together again" topper said handing Mabel a note. Rafe? Together AGAIN? Wtf is going on I thought she hated him? Silence waved over us until pope started the engine again "um could you read that out loud Mabel?" Pope asked his sister as she read the note with a confused look. "Hey babe, I didn't mean for that to happen sorry darling, could you come over tonight I don't like you with those pogues. -rafe" mabel said as she read the note slowly dropping it into the water. "I-" she said with a face filled with doubt and shaking hands. "Mabel are you okay? What's wrong?" Kiara asked slowly scared to make any sudden moves towards the girl. "Oh. My." Sarah said looking at mabel with an understanding and worried look in her eyes. "My brother, rafe, last time he asked her to 'come over' h-he....abused her and then uh r..aped her." Sarah said guilt flooding her tone as I stood their with my jaw clenched at what he did. Pope's face was fuming with anger as kie was staring down with shock. "Mhm." Mabel said confirming what Sarah said. The rest of the boat ride was silent. No one spoke. The only sound was the waves clashing against the side of the HMS Pogue and the engine turning on and off. As we arrived to the chateau we were greeted by John b "Hey guys! How was the b- guys? Are you guys okay?" He asked seeing all our different emotions walking inside "yeah." Kie said slowly as she plopped onto the couch opposite of John b. "I'm gonna head out real quick." I said with rage coursing through my veins. "Okay" John b said smiling sadly at me. My instinct knew where to go. As I got on my dirt bike I didn't look back once as I drove off. I arrived.

Mabel's POV
I knew exactly where JJ was going but I didn't think much about what he would do. Maybe throw a punch or yell but when he left I went onto the pullout couch to take a nap exhausted after what had happened still having some jet lag. I quickly fell asleep. I woke up to pope screaming "What do you mean Sarah! What do you mean you saw rafe with bloody knuckles and couldn't find JJ? What did he do. WHAT DID HE DO." "I DONT KNOW!" I ran outside quickly falling over the rotten wooden steps. "WHAT" "mabel calm down it'll be okay we just need to find him" kie said rubbing my back. I grabbed my bike and jumped on it "i don't know what you guys want to do but I'm going to find him." I said pedalling away.
