Fletchers POV
She drove me crazy. And I think she knew that. She knew she was getting to me. Crash and I steered clear of each other the rest of the weekend until sunday night. The Emerson’s always came over for dinner and we’d have game night. It was a tradition. I missed Maine. It was too hot in Miami, Maine was warm in the summer but cold in the winter. The girls would walk around in their bikinis all day and their daisy dukes.Which I didn’t mind I mean I dig a hot chic but seriously have some pride! Worst of all Miami didn’t have Crash. She was my partner in crime. We were amigos. We didn’t agree on much. But most of the time we agreed to disagree. We didn’t end on good terms before I left. I tried not to think of it. It pained me to think I hurt Crash in anyway. Her hazel eyes were so innocent. Then I thought of all the things she’s done, we’ve done. I giggle like a school girl. Oh what memories. Freshman year we were both grounded because we had filled condoms with flour and water and threw them at the twins. Five weeks for that one. I laughed out loud. On top of that we snuck out during our grounding to go to a party. We rode our bikes back from the party seeing our parents standing on the doorsteps of our houses right next to each other with scowls on their faces. Crash and I were grounded for three months. But man that girl knew how to party.
I walked outside, grabbed my skateboard that was on the front steps and started going down our street going up to the beach. The salty air blew on my face and I sighed deeply. I dropped my skateboard underneath the lifeguard chairs and took off my nikes and started to walk down the beach. My toes squished into the firm wet sand and I let the chilly salty water roll up to my ankles. I walked along the shore line looking at my feet. I thought about how I was starting my senior year of high school in a matter of months. It was crazy. I was seventeen, I had my drivers license and I realized how awesome life would be for summer parties this year. I was smiling to myself and then it struck me. Literally, I ran right into a person walking the opposite direction of me.

Crash’s POV
I decided I’d go for a run before having the whole Gorton family over for dinner. to let off some steam. I plugged in my ipod, putting in my buds and zoning out on the world I ran on the beach. I was doing pretty well, the music over powering me. I watched as little kids covered each other in sand and others splashing each other in the water. Fletcher and I used to do that all the time. Argh! why did I have always think about Fletcher! I never thought about him when he was gone. Thats a Lie. Anyway, he popped up in my mind too many times in a day. So many things reminded me of him! The little twerp bothered me. I was lost in thought when all of a sudden I bumped into someone. They weren’t looking where they were going and I got knocked over.
“What the hell is your problem!?” I asked fumingly. I looked up and I was looking into gorgeous green eyes. Eyes that I knew way to well. Eyes that I couldn’t stand to see. They made me sick.
