I woke up the next morning, still tired for some reason. The sun was blinding my eyes form my skylight. I had a fairly quiet descent morning. I ate breakfast with my mom. I went for a run on the beach and then watched a few hours of the NCIS marathon that was on. Everything was normal
. I still hadn't talked to Fletch. He was probably still sleeping, if he went to that party he would sleep until about
three in the afternoon. I got off the couch and walked up to my bedroom and sat cross-legged on my bed and pulled out my laptop. I logged onto my Facebook and scrolled through my feed. Until I stumbled upon some pictures from last night. I saw Carrie, her blonde wavy locks pulled into a pony-tail and she was flushed at the cheeks. She had a drink in her hand and she was laughing, but with a paranoid face. She looked nervous, the same look she had when we took our Geometry final. The next one made do a double take. It was of Carrie and a dark haired boy lip locked. Thats weird I thought to myself. Carrie didn't gave a boyfriend. I didn't even knew she liked someone. I looked at the picture again. The boy was a few inches taller than her and he was wearing cargo shorts and a nike t-shirt. His arms were around her neck. He had a few bracelets around his wrists and one beaded one. Thats when I lost it. I knew exactly who that was. I had given that dark haired boy that bracelet for his eleventh birthday. I got off my bed, shut my laptop and slipped on my flip-flops. I was paying a certain neighbor of mine a visit.
