As Issei came out of his mind, he was still feeling the anger coursing through his veins. He needed to calm down his temper, or he would be blind. That would prove to be a fatal mistake on his part.

The others looked at him as he just sat down and started to breathe deeply, they knew he was going through something, so they knew not to press on about the issue.

Time would help him, so they just had to wait. However, there were more pressing matters at hand.

The war was about to begin, and they couldn't have their leader out of commission. So they were going to say fuck it, and turn it around, then and there. However, none of them wanted to tempt the beast and it reap the consequences.

It was Kuroka who walked forward, despite the risks, and decided that she was going to get him to talk about what was on his mind. However, what she didn't know, is that Issei knew she was coming and was preparing for the conversation.

Acting with no haste, he severed the link with his dragons, so that he wouldn't be distracted and could focus.

That's when he heard her.

"Issei, tell me what's wrong."

She heard a sigh come out, and waited.

"I had a talk with Bahamut and I know he was only trying to help, but he was toying with my emotions."

He heard a response pretty quickly.

"What did he say?"

As Issei started to tell her, he noticed her expression was of empathy, when she spoke his entire being was shaken up. He was flabbergasted and left with no words, with the only thought in his was to protect everyone.

"Well, I can definitely say that wasn't intentional Issei, he was testing you to see if your will had faltered. What do I have to say about it? Sure, failure is a possibility, but possibilities are endless, and they are just that. Only possibilities, what truly matters is what you take to heart and how you yourself will change the future by your own hands."

Issei didn't know what to think, he knew that every word she said was true.

He couldn't dwell on it, his team needed him.

With a swift motion, Kuroka found herself in a tight grip and two words were whispered in her ear.

"Thank you."

There was no time to waste. Issei had that gut feeling that the war would be full blown in a few hours, so it was time to brief everyone.

As he got everyone's attention, he spoke.

"Everyone, the time is now. Something tells me that today the war will truly begin, so there is no going back. We fight till our dying breaths, no matter the odds we will prevail. Nothing will stand in our way! Are you with me?"

The response he got was expected, the deafening roar of support rang throughout the underworld, anyone would be able to hear.

He knew they were ready.

It was a little bit later, and everyone had rested up enough to regain their strength from the training sessions they were doing.

That's when everyone felt it.

A massive energy spike was sensed, and everyone knew the armies were mobilized and ready to fight, but so they were as well.

Issei motioned for everyone to stay still, they would let their prey come to them. Not the other way around.

It was time.

Before they knew it, they were face to face with the 4 Satan's and their army of devils. Issei couldn't count the number of soldiers on the battlefield, he knew a guess wouldn't hit the mark and would fall short of the actual number.
