Y/N POV

* timeskip *

After school , I walked with aera back to the dorm complex since she wanted to help me get ready for the amusement park .

"yah , why are you making it's such a big deal about this?!" I asked her , wondering why she's acting all excited because me and yeonjun are going out tonight.

"you are really dense y/n . He obviously wants to take this as a date ! It's so clear that he likes you!" Aera replied .

I felt my cheeks heat up . Not because I was flustered , but because the thought of someone else liking me was ... well it was something I wasn't familiar with .

"yah! It's not a date . He asked you too, so therefore .. it's just a hangout between friends .." I said , convincing myself that I wasn't lying to myself .

she rolled her eyes . "whatever you say y/n" she said .

we continued to walk until the dorm complex came into our view .

We walked in and like always , greeted the doorman as we passed by him , making our way to the elevators .

"so what's your favorite ride at the carnival?? I remember you telling me you really liked it there." Aera asked , sparking a conversation as the elevator doors opened up .

We both stepped in and pressed my floor before I answered her question .

"a lot of happy memories were made there . My parents would always take me and my brother there when we had a weekend off or if we wanted to go somewhere fun" I explained .

"ahh . So it's one of those childhood favorite places to go?" She asked , I nodded my head .

The elevator rang , telling us that we had reached my floor level .

We walked out and I lead the way to me and sunoo's shared room , since aera hasn't been before .

"my room is a bit of a mess since I couldn't decide what to wear this morning.." I admitted , slightly embarrassed .

"it's fine . My room is never clean . I doubt your room is worse than mine" she assured me .

I unlocked the door and saw that no one was home , meaning Sunoo wasn't there which relieved me a bit .

"my room is the first one on the right . I'm going to grab a snack first . Want anything??" I asked aera .

"water please." She politely asked , making her way to my room . I grabbed 2 waters for the both of us and headed to my room.

I found aera going through all of my clothes , looking for an outfit for me to wear tonight .

"I'm putting your water on my desk." I told her . "okayy! I'm going to make the perfect 'first date' outfit" she said , confidently .

"for the last time this isnt a date. And who said I liked him anyways? I see him as a brother . Someone I can trust with my life , but not romantically" I explained to her .

"sooo do you have a crush on anyone else then??" She asked me .

"Sunoo" was the first thing to pop into my head . I knew I liked him , and I knew my feelings were getting stronger by the day , but I couldn't bring myself to openly admit it.

"n-no . I don't have time to think about other boys anyways , I need to focus on my school work" I lied .

She skeptically looked at me , not buying my story , but not pushing for an answer anymore .

she looked through my closet while I did some homework , before she finally put together an outfit .

"tadaaa!" She exclaimed , showing me the outfit .
