Champagne Problems

"You are kidding, right?" he said not believing it

"No Max, I'm not. He really is his father" I told him with tears in my eyes. I sat down on the bed and put my head into my hands.

„I have to get fresh air for a while. I come back later" he said and headed out.

I called Relia crying now.

„Hey Amélie, whats up?" she asked

„I told him Relia. I told him about Jules father" I straight said

„What? Did he not take it good, why are you crying?" she asked worried

„He just walked out on me. He said he needs to get fresh air. I don't know what to do" I said frustrated

„It's not your fault, Amélie. If you wanted to build up a relationship with you had to tell him sooner or later. He will come back and have a proper conversation with you"

„I'm scared that I won't even have a good chance to have a relationship with him. I like him, I think we could really work out" I told her honestly.

„If you feel like that then he will come back and talk to you. Try to calm down and be patient" she said.

„Thank you for always being there for me. I needed that advice" I smiled

„I'll always be here for you. See you sis"

„See you" and with that we hung up.

A little while later Jules was awake again and it was getting time to eat dinner. Max still hasn't come back. I decided to get room service. Jules and I ate. We sat down in front of the tv.

„Where is Maxie? Can we watch Cars again with him?" Jules asked

„Max said he had to do something, but we can watch it together" I told him

„Will he come back during the movie?"

„I don't know, baby" I said and put on the movie. He had his toy cars out and played with them during the movie. Sometimes he even run around. We started the second movie and he started to be tired again. He fell asleep and I brought him into bed.

I got into the bathroom and got myself ready for bed. I'm really worried about Max. I got changed and sit down on the bed. I looked at my phone. 9 p.m and still no messages from him. I sigh. I just watched the wall.

Suddenly the door opened. I looked up and seeing Max walking in. I got up and hugged him. He hugged me back.

„I wanted to tell you this the last two times already, but there wasn't a good time to tell you and I was scared this would happen" I looked him in the eyes.

„I'm sorry, Amélie. It was so unexpected, I didn't know how to deal with it. I was scared. I called my mom and my sister to talk about it. They both said I'm an idiot for walking out on you. I really like you and I want this to work. I appreciate that you told me. You didn't have to tell me, we don't know each other for too long. I can imagine myself in a relationship with you. I hope we can continue building up a relationship and that you forgive me" he spoke his heat out.

„Max, of course I forgive you. I was scared that Charles would use this against you and tell you before I could. Or Jules could accidentally tell you, which would be more possible. I hope you understand that and I really hope we can build up a relationship too" I told him. He smiled.

„He couldn't use it against me and you know why? Because I have now what he has lost and I won't give it away so easily" he said. I smiled now too.

He looked me in the eyes and came closer to my face.
