"Did you sleep well?" Dawn asked observing the noticeable bags under her granddaughter eyes.

"Not really," she admitted, taking a seat on one of the bar stools. She had stayed up all night with Misty, consoling the tearful girl until she eventually fell asleep on her bed. Reagan opted to sleep on the floor with a couple of blankets for cushion, assuming Misty wouldn't want to wake up beside her considering she was the reason for her breakup with Grayson. Dawn nodded "was everything alright? I heard some crying from your bedroom when I got home from work."

Reagan nervously bit her lip, contemplating whether to disclose the entire situation. "Uh—Misty and Grayson broke up last night."

"Poor thing," sympathized Dawn. "It's great that you were there for her."

"If only you knew," Reagan thought guiltily. Just as her grandmother set a plate of pancakes eggs and bacon down in front of her. Reagan muttered a thanks before devouring her pancakes in syrup.

"What about your date last night, how did that go?" Dawn asked leaning against the counter with a steaming cup of coffee in her hand before taking a sip.

"Great actually" Reagan couldn't help but to smile at the thought of Derek.

Dawn smiled seeing her granddaughter in good spirits "that's great to hear." she said before her voice went serious" I don't have to have the talk with you, do I?"
