Both now mother and adopted (kidnapped) daughter were caught getting sunsettia's from a tree somewhere in Dihua Marsh. And who were the people who saw them?
The anemo yaksha and the geo archon of course. They were only supposed to take a walk around Liyue discussing random things.
The yaksha saw the mother and daughter duo first and tugged the geo archon's hoodie and pointed at the two. Both had eyes wide as saucers looking back and forth with their eyes between the two trying to click in their head that they have similarities.
Questions were swirling in ther minds. Who is this child? A mere mortal? When did she appear? Is that her daughter? Why didnt she show the child two years ago then?
Now back at the mother and daughter, Adela was sitting on of [name]'s shoulder stretching her arms up to reach the sunsettia up top on the tree. Once Adela grabbed a hold of it, both cheered and [name] brought Adela down to the ground level.
[name] did hear faint footsteps earlier but she didn't look over thinking it was just a mortal passing by. Her horns glowed a little once she heard footsteps stop walking on the grass. She looked at Adela in the eyes and told her to just run around the plains and look for crystalflies to collect (There's clearly no crystalflies around).
The child nodded and went to hunting for crystalflies not knowing she wont find any.
[name] turned around and made eye contact with a puzzled face of the Geo archon. She smiled and waved for them to come over. Both the archon and yaksha snapped out of their trance and walked over her.
As [name] opens her mouth to explain, the geo archon trapped her against the sunsettia tree.
Poor tree.
[name] flinched and looked back at his piercing glare along with feeling the yaksha's faint glare on her.
"Okay now let me explain first please—"

[name] called Adela over and she sees the child with a disappointed face. "Mama, I didnt find any crystalflies.." Adela sniffled and sighed. "Okay okay, you'll find more later in Mondstadt right? I just want you to meet my friends." [name] said calmly.
She picked up Adela and faced the boys. "Adela, these are my friends. You can call the hooded man Morax or Rex Lapis and the man holding a spear is named Xiao." Adela nodded in understanding and observed.
"Guys, this is my adopted daughter named Adela. Sorry for saying this too late." [name] apologized. Zhongli's piercing glare softened and Xiao looked at them blankly and shook his head. "No need to be sorry. You probably had a lot in your mind to make you forget about telling us about this." Xiao stated understandably while Zhongli muttered out "You gave us a heart attack."
"Mama gave you guys a heart attack? Why?" Adela asked with confused and dotted eyes. Zhongli's eyes widened and was unable to reply back.
"I—" Zhongli started but got interrupted by [name] smiling and questioning the sun.
"Oya? It's already sunset?"

[name] tucked Adela in her bed as she heard soft snores from the child. She sighed, went outside the child's bedroom and gripped her stomach. [name] has been feeling hot lately and her stomach has been craving..something.
She felt someone hugged her from behind and she yelped when she saw Zhongli kissing her neck. Whilst she was busy comprehending Zhongli's actions, Xiao went in front of her and took his time kissing the top of her head.
Next thing she knew, [name] froze in her spot as she heard Xiao's words.
"You're feeling it right now right? Want us to help you? It's been a while."
