𝓒𝓡𝓞𝓢𝓢𝓔𝓓 𝓟𝓐𝓣𝓗𝓢
𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗣𝗢𝗩 '𝘏𝘮..𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦' I wondered as I walked on the small bridge of Inazuma City while looking around for the familiar burgundy haired detective who usually hangs out around...everywhere and sometimes the Tenryou Commission.
'...𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘦?' I pouted as I stopped in front of the Tenryou Commission, greeting some soldiers who were guarding the gates.
"Oh! Hado-san! Who are you looking for in the Tenryou Commission?" an acquaintance of mine asked me. This particular soldier has always seen me walk all around Narukami Island and pass by the Tenryou Commission often.
"Ah— I'm only looking for—"
"UWAH!!! WHY DID HE DISAPPEAR AGAIN?! THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS WEEK OF HIM DISAPPEARING WHILE ON A CASE. I SWEAR HE KEEPS GETTING THESE SIDE QUESTS IN HIS HEAD!" I flinched at the booming voice that interrupted me and glanced behind the soldier to see Detective Sango gripping her hair while screaming at Detective Ryuuji.
"Sango! We can track him down again. We just have to ask someone from the Adventurer's guild or from the Tenryou Commission to find him...again." Ryuuji tried to reassure his partner but it didnt seem like it was working.
'𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘭..𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘦𝘵 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘦.' I deadpanned and apologized to the soldier who was also looking at the commotion and I walked over to the two newly detectives.
"I apologize for interrupting or anything but I may have overheard that a certain someone disappeared again? May I help finding him?" I asked them softly as Sango's screams died down and both looked at me with bewilderment written on their faces.
"Ms..Hado? What are you doing here?" Sango asked me while bowing slightly in respect. "Please, just call me [name]. We're almost the same age anyway and as I said, I overheard you guys talking about someone going missing again for the third time this week." I waved my hand to dismiss her calling me by my last name and calling me "Ms."
"Oh yeah about that..his name is Shikanoin Heizou. That one odd new detective guy. Do you know him Ms. Ha— I mean [name]?" I looked at Ryuuji who was scratching his neck nervously and I nodded, "Burgundy hair and olive green eyes detective? Yes yes, seen him a lot before. I can identify him from miles away." I confirmed.
Sango let out a big sigh of relief, "Oh thank the archons! Please do help us [name]! We can give you mora and gems in return! Just please bring him back so I CAN PULL HIS HAIR OUT FOR DOING SIDE QUESTS AGAIN. AT THIS POINT, I'LL HANDLE THE WHOLE CASE INSTEAD."
