Avneet bite her lip, staring at her reflection in the mirror with her mouth formed into an 'o'. Her tummy was not big now but soon it will have a baby bump...
After Siddharth left for work she found out that she's pregnant. And she has never felt so nervous and scared in her ENTIRE LIFE!
She knew Siddharth didn't like kids! Then now what? What if he didn't like the news??
''Hey bhagwan, raksha karna..'' Avneet kept chanting again and again as she kept holding the positive pregnancy stick in her hand.
''Nahi Avni! Why Siddharth will be angry or dislike this news? He loves you so much so he'll.. ughh!'' she started pacing in front of the mirror before taking deep breath.
''You are Siddharth'' she pointed towards the mirror. ''I have to practice with you.''
''Guess who has a person in her stomach Siddharth?? ME! No, I didn't eat anyone, I am having a baby!'' Avneet screamed to the mirror before biting her nails. No, this one is bad!
''You want to see a magic trick Siddharth, see this!'' Avneet raised the pregnancy stick and smiled at the mirror. ''ABRACADABRA, YOU ARE A FATHER FROM NOW ON!''

''Sorry baby, you didn't heard anything right?'' she whispered caressing her stomach lightly.
She sat down on the edge of bed groaning to herself.
This is gonna be difficult.!

''Hey baby'' Siddharth spoke as he came home in the evening. He undid his tie and looked at Avneet to find her smiling at him awkwardly.
''Siddharth.. I was thinking.. do you think we should colour our room PINK or BLUE?'' Avneet asked smiling, now he'll get the hint! Pink for girl, blue for boy, he'll understand she's pregnant and hence asking this!
''I like blue. If you wanna do it, go ahead Neet, do what you want'' he shrugged, grabbing a glass of water as he talked to someone on bluetooth.

Siddharth and Avneet sat on the dining table with everyone else before Avneet suddenly got up.
''Siddharth can we both eat alone at our bedroom tonight?'' Avneet asked not even realizing how bold her words sounded. A smirk came on his lips while everyone cleared their throats. Vaishnavi giggled with Abhi joining her.
