It was the first week in December and also happened to be a Hogsmeade weekend.

Throughout the week, Amelia had tried to gather to confidence to ask Theo to the Yule Ball; she could only hope he'd say yes.

Currently, Daphne and Pansy were fussing over her, doing both her hair and make up. It seemed they were more excited then Amelia was; she was a nervous wreck.

"I feel more nervous then I did before the first task. What if he says no?" She started to panic.

"He's not going to!" Pansy said whilst adjusting Amelia's face, "I cant believe I didn't notice this before but he always stares at you!"

Daphne agreed with her." We are so oblivious, he's all over you."

Amelia wished Blake was there, the girl always knew what to do in these situations and constantly helped Amelia feel better.

Nonetheless, the Ravenclaw girl had ran off somewhere and Amelia had a sneaky feeling that she was with her cousin - Olivia.

Amelia didn't know how to feel about that.

Of course she understood that she had no control over who Blake was friends with and would never tell her she couldn't be friends with Olivia.

She just didn't know how she felt comfortable about her bestfriend being friends with one of the girls who had never been the nicest, to say the least, to her.

Amelia wouldn't say that to her face, however. Her and Blake's friendship was too great to lose over a silly fight; at the end of the day if Blake was happy, Amelia was happy for her.

Daphne and Pansy continued to make a fuss over the teenager until they were finally finished getting her all ready.

She wore a white crop top, blue jeans and one of Theo's jackets that she stole during their second year.

The Slytherin still couldn't believe that she was going to ask him out. All the what if questions invaded her mind: What if he said no? What if he didn't like her at all? What if he already had a date?

"Ready?" Daphne asked as she put her own bag and coat on.

Pansy was already out the door running to the common room where they'd meet the boys.

Amelia took a death breath and whispered, "Ready as I'll ever be."

Daphne gave her an encouraging smile before they walked out the dorm room and into the common room.

The only students who were there were first and second years, who were unable to go to the village.

The boys were already there and messing around with each other.
