I woke up in my room after a good night's sleep, knowing that the infection was finally over. The only good part was that I got to meet some of my fans. But one in particular just didn't leave my mind. 97679. I heard she came from an orphanage. I wanted to go see her but I didn't know what orphanage she lived in. I decided to update the community forum and I mentioned her in the post. The post read:

'welcome back walkers. It's great to have everyone back! During the infection I met quite a few of you. A few were #97679, #97414 and #97859. A lot happened but we all got through it together. It will take people time to get used to being somewhat normal. I will try to update my other social accounts as soon as possible. I just have some personal work to do beofr I get to that. Potato every single one of you'

I smiled as I read that last part. I posted it and set off to find that girl. I tried the local orphanage. I didn't find her but I didn't give up. I was so determined to find her. I then went through 5 more until I found one that seemed to know her.

'she was a previous orphan here but she was then taken to a foster family and then to a different orphanage'
'do you know what orphanage she's in now?'
'she's in an orphanage only half an hour away from here'
'alright, thank you'

I left the building and I traveled 30 minutes and that was when I saw her outside. She immideatly ran up to me and hugged me. I hugged her back.

'Alan! You came to see me!'
'yeah...i couldn't stop thinking about you...I kinda of...missed you... In a way...'

Then one of the staff came up to her.

'excuse me sir, can you step away from the child?'

Then that was when I made the biggest decision I would ever make.

'I would like to adopt her'

97679 looked stunned.

'what! You're...you're'

She continued to stutter. I chuckled and she just hugged me again.

'thank you! Thank you!'
'it's alright...I know you'll be happy'

Then the staff member spoke up.

'follow me sir'

I did and we went through the documents and things like that. After around an hour, we were both finally ready to leave. I hugged her softly.

'I hope you'll be happy...'

Then we got her stuff at the 2 of us went home. I showed her where they would be staying and she told me that they would be able to get to school herself.It was only a 10 minute walk. I remembered her name from the document. Linda.
